I’m a bit surprised on the sound considering it’s a 4. I currently have a 2014 allroad and have been very hesitant on getting an aftermarket exhaust because of the 2.0. I’ve owned/own 5 cylinders and have been ‘spoiled’ as they all sound fantastic. I will say props to you for a nice sounding 4 with respectable power. Nice inspiration for me with our allroad. Great video. Thanks for sharing!

Did you have any issues pairing the CTS downpipe and high flow cat with the AWE catback? I have the AWE catback (which I believe is 2.5”) and I want to get the downpipe but I’m not sure how the 3” will pair with the 2.5”

I have the same exhaust setup. APR High Flow Cat and AWE Touring Dual. I had to add a vibrant resonator to lower the exhaust. It sounds good now. Next step is go K04.

i have an rs copy on mine, best fit etc is xuk brand ... but be warned, it's 97% ish spot on, i had to make some minor stanley blade shaves in hidden areas but it's spot on now.. just bad mould issues just don't expect to pay 1\5 the price of original and it goes straight on.. Also i have maxton design front splitter and skirts.. i installed GFB DV blow off and R8 coil pack.. if your tune causes any issues it'd probably be the temp of the coil pack.. so do you suggest the high flow cat and air intake + custom rema on a rolling road.. one would expect to hit what bhp?

Exhaust a little loud for me but sound sweet. Car is clean & looks awesome. I just picked up a 2011 B8 Sportline & did the IE stg1 tune so far. I have K&N intake ECS free-flowing cat & down pipe, charge pipes. Stock Exhaust with deleted resonators . I have no idea what it's making now but it's much faster than b4. Did a draggy run & it did mid 13s. Looking to up grade the exhaust soon & step the tune up to stg2

hell yes. i have a 2016 a4 and it’s got a stage 1 tune atm. only problem w audis is that they have HORRIBLE lag from start at full throttle. however you’ll definitely feel the push back with a tune. keep in mind doing 2+ tunes will cause more mechanical problems in the long run and at 100k miles your car might not make it. (this is from personal experience)

@@alexissixela6969 that horrible lag, comes from the plastic flappers inside the intake manifold. Replace it with the integrated engineering intake manifold along with the stage 2 tune from i.e.

Hey man, really digging your car. How did you get a steering wheel w/paddles on a 2014? I thought they only came on S4s until 2017 or so when Audi started throwing them on A4s too.

I believe A4’s with the s-line sport seats came with paddles on the steering wheel. I’ve seen other factory b8.5 a4’s with them as well

@@Getchovids99 Yeah I think I figured it out. So, apparently a super high number of b8.5 A4s from 15/16 were made as S-Line EXTERIOR packages, but lacked the interior package. They are still given the S-Line badging on the exterior but the inside has the basic steering wheel, no door sill s-line emblems, etc. Which, makes sense considering I hardly see b8.5s with the interior s-line trim + sport suspension etc.

Which downpipe did you get? I have the AWE touring exhaust on my B8.5 and looking to go stage II - thinking IE. Did you have any issues mating the downpipe to the AWE exhaust? Special clamps?

As noted in the video, this has an APR hfc downpipes. It threw a check engine light but was resolved

On paper, only an exhaust is required (with high flow cat) but I would recommend intake and intercooler as well.

Sounds like an exhaust leak not really “sporty”. Best exhaust I have heard is the Tneer b8 exhaust.
