For $60k, you could get a BMW 5-Series (535i) that's well equipped, but as BMW does it... if you check all the option boxes, you'll be adding almost $10k to the sticker price for your Beamer. But for most BMW owners and fans, money's probably no object.

+Billy Sou you mgghtbe supprised, this is a debtor nation, all glamor and glist, ppl dont have any mony and the ones that do drive a Prius. Most ppl are buying this car and pay rent for a condo or apartment. If you came here to scottsdale AZ you would think everyone is rich. What someones drive is a horrible indicator of their Networth.

I did not hear any specific comments on whether this is markedly better than the 3 series sedan. Looks may be better but is it much sharper to drive and justify the price premium? A great review would have included that in its comments.

main problem is that a well optioned 435i is priced around the same as a base m4

Thats msrp 60,000 you can talk the dealer down at least 3k. The base m4 is $64,000 completely stripped. Good luck finding a dealer that carries a base m4 you will have to factory order it. Most people won't buy a bmw without nav, heated seats, led lights, lumbar support etc...

Of course you order the car from the factory. I don't need any of the options you just listed, nor do most people, but a fool and his money are soon separated.

+Zapp Rogerstein Trust me, I said the same thing. You NEED to tick some boxes to get a nice M4 trust me. Heads up display, dct, extended leather, LED etc. Cars without this wont hold their value well.

Since it is one of BMWs sports coupes, I would have liked to see a race lap or two. Great description of handling and dimensions but performance options you included on this vehicle were barely touched on. Impressive array of adjectives though!

OMG this car is so sexy, I would put Xdrive and performance 20 inch wheels, lower car down a bit and some custom exhaust, this cars looks so good that it doesn't need nothing more than a subtle tunning like that. I liked 3 series coupe but this just looks so much more agressive, well done Bimma :)

BMW have great looking interiors. Well arranged without any shiny and confusing lights and big buttons. You bought one, after 5-6 years you buy the new model and you feel like modern version of old one. But there is typical BMW feel. Modern designs are for kids. BMW make well engineered cars, not design cars. Hyundai make well designed cars, but did you ever saw 20 years old Hyundai that is more expensive than new one ?
