Love the looks of the new Impala. Not too keen on the motorized hidden storage well just for the fact of if the motor fails, how would you get your stuff out of it? Especially things I need on a daily basis like my phone and such?

MyLink is pretty good - there may be a bit of lag here and there - but it's not a deal breaker.

Did you find the faux suede part of the seat hot after a drive? I test drove one for about 20 min and part of my back got sweaty. Loved the car otherwise but that might be a deal breaker for me.

Nice one Tony! The new Impala is getting good reviews all over the place. Even though you got the LT model it didnt look too cheap or weak assed. Not a fan of that particular colour though but the car is well designed and boldly styled. I hope the Malibu team is taking notes!

Tony my man! Yes folks with the 2.5 4cyl. (Yes FOUR cylinders) you can achieve 21/31 CITY/HWY that produces 195 BHP or the 3.6 SIX Cyl. Rocking out 18/28 CITY/HWY MPG as TONY said 305 BHP. GO CHEVY! I'll still choose an Avalon though.

yes - the old Impalas were somewhat boring - although people that drive them - love the ride and power. The new model is a superstar! go get!

good question. They are both nice. I like the Impala for everything except the driving experience. Ford wins there. But, you can't go wrong with either.

the dodge Journey was never my favorite - although I've been told that the new model has been greatly improved. I wasn't a big fan of the FIAT 500 - in terms of build quality - check out my review of that one.

A year after this video the Impala IMO still lacks. Interior colors lack appeal, the ride is so-so, and in lieu of the GM recalls I cant trust this car. For the same money for an LTZ we can get a Chrysler 300C and ride in ultimate comfort, without the recalls.
