I did these instructions on a raptor light set to added on to fuel injection fuse which caused my 2020 to shut off on the highway and couple days later wouldnt start.

I just purchased these light and I am having the same issue with them randomly coming on for a couple of minutes when the car is parked and locked. I went by the steps in the video. Why is this happening?

If it is in a certain fuse it will turn on for evap test. Try the kdss fuse if you don’t have kdss.

Just bought these lights and having the same issues as the rest of the folks on these comments below. Where on the fuse box does this connect? I wish rather than directing folks to email you, you would just answer the question and repost an updated video.

@@Nicholastavasci Your EFI 3 fuse will get power when you truck performs an evap system check. It does this every once in awhile so that is why they may randomly turn on. You can try another ignition fuse if you are worried about your battery draining, but the chance of that happening is extremely low. Yes. I just installed a couple days ago and noticed the lights were on twice today in the parking space outside my office. Not cool. They explain below, but it seems silly that this is the only option?

I had the same problem with the lights turning on randomly. They eventually drained my battery and after I replaced it, I ended up at the dealership with a solid engine light on and the Multi-terrain Select Not Available. After a $230 diagnostic that concluded it was the raptor lights, causing an imbalance in power distribution, they disconnected them and now they’re not working. I tried reaching Cali Raised a couple of times about this, with no answer to the issue, but would be nice if they gave another option for the EFI-2 fuse location

Dang, do not want to be negative but where is the actual installation video? Gotto zoom in on the wiring. Not everyone wants the lights on automatically with ignition is on. Needs to be tied with auto or some switch.

I was hoping the video would show the fuse box and the spot that the fuse goes into. Lastly, my wiring looks a little different to the one in this video and I am not sure my grounding wire will reach the bolt I need to attach it to. I completely missed the "Add a Fuse" part on their website.

Same thing happened to me. 4Runner is 2 weeks old and now I need to go back to the dealer to reset. These Raptor lights are still not working properly. I’ve never had them even turn on and I am using the EFI 2 port. Between this brand and Morimoto (which is a whole other nightmare not getting passenger side DRL and high beams to work) I would suggest going another direction. I am debating tearing these out and sending them back to 4Runner Lifestyle.

May I ask why the EFI 2 fuse ? Can it be any other that function as EFI 2 fuse in terms of power ?

Is it possible to wire this to my parking lights instead of the ignition? Id like to have the lights on only at night or when I have just my parking lights on.

It's not designed to connect to another source but if you can tie it in correctly it would work.

Added the add a fuse to the EFI2 and the lights will now turn on while my car is parked when my fuel pump kicks on. Any other suggestion? I also only want them on when my headlights are on.

In the video they say efi-2 but in the comments from you guys I am seeing efi-3. Is efi-3 a better option? I used efi-2 as the video instructed but the lights come on for a short period of time at random when I'm parked and the car is off. Also I don't see an EFI-3 on the schematic

I used the efi-2 for my raptor lights so that if they do turn on for a minute it won't take much power. And for my aftermarket morimoto headlights I connected to one of the INJ spots.

I don't believe these lights will fit the grill on a 2020 SR5, only the TRD models.

Correct these will not fit an SR5. They will only fit a TRD pro grille. Let us know if you have any further questions!
