I have a new 2015 Bright White Charger R/T Plus. IT'S LOADED, and I'm still learning about all the high tech electronics the "Plus" model comes with. I sincerely agree with Riley about the quality of the car, in a few short years Dodge has done a fantastic job as far as quality, paint, etc. are concerned. If someone that owns a Dodge tells you it's a solid quality car they're being truthful. Great job Dodge !

@@SixthZan It ran 86000 km so far. No problems whatsoever. Only common things like changing oil for example. I have installed a new battery and new brakes. That's it. And he passes the german TÜV every time well. May i give you an advice? You should look for the newer models with 8-speed transmission. Mine has 5 and it's okay but with that much power more are needed.

92k on my 13 r/t. Only thing done was replaced tie rods. the wheels "skip" when fully turning right in reverse, but I think that's due to worn control arms. Maybe, IDK.. not a big issue. Other than that, I'm surprised how solid it's been. Never been a Mopar fan, but got a good deal and haven't looked back. The only thing that feels outdated is the 5 speed. While solid, it doesn't shift always smooth especially 3rd to 4th. It holds shifts like it's a damn snowmobile. It just feels like it should've been phased out 5 years ago. But, I see why they kept with it do to it's reliability. Manual mode is okay but the delay between shifts just make it's meh.

I have an 08 rt with an upgraded exhaust, cai, and tune. Red with matte black decals. ONLY 70k on it and i absolutely love it! Only complaint i have about it is the leather seats have looked shitty since the day i got it

Bought my 2013 R/T last December. So far I've done Sinospark underglow led's, four sets of Ualau led strips for the interior, total of 16 led strips on the inside. Aftermarket ghost door lights that shine the R/T logo onto the ground. Custom floormats and steering wheel cover (from Walmart) lol, yeah I know. I'll get the diamond stitch ones someday soon hopefully. My plan is to make it into the baddest looking R/T in the Denver Metro Area. Still need to upgrade my headlights and fog lights. Plan on accenting the body lines with red stripes on the sides and hood. Adding rear window and side window louvers. More led's for the wheel wells and under the hood.

My 14 V8 Charger pursuit I use at work is horrible the entire county fleet is horrible unfortunately. They don't hold up well being driven hard daily. I had a rubber gasket on the transmission blow at 130 mph during a pursuit the oil then hit the exhaust causing it to catch fire but a few small bursts from extinguisher took care of it saving the car. They also fail alot with the breaks and the buggest issue is the risers go out at around 100k miles causing around 5k in repairs. They are pretty fast and scary looking cars that's what I do like about it. But for county use they are worthless we have destroyed the front subframe with potholes causing 1k in repairs on county roads due to being very low. TXDPS do like them since they are good on the flat highway. But the Ford twin turbo ecoboost Taurus Interceptor is waaaaay faster you can't beat those turbos.

Well y'all see my comment below I finally got my RT today had to get a Hemi I mean my charger wouldn't sound the same as if I were to get a V6 a sxt hell no I wouldn't call it a race car if I got a sxt plus after looking at racing street videos it just got me into racing so yeah that's why I got a HEMI as my first race car I had a 2012 Corolla S but no the engines don't sound the same lol and my new ride is in the garage with a car cover over it I ain't even trying to drive it right now from the dealership to the house driving my rental instead

nick13388 they are probably talking about the pre VVT versions. The valves go bad after 125k. The VVT versions are way more reliable seen them go past 250k.

I have a 12 challenger V6 and im debating to whether go for a 2015 or 16 Scatpack. BUT I was wondering if the RT is good enough? The RT only has about 70 more horsepower maybe and it doesnt seem as much to me. SInce youve owned one, what are your thoughts? I saw your scatpack review by the way and is it really worth it?

+puneet7891 The R/T is to me the perfect amount of power in a vehicle. Fast enough to be fast yet still "slow" enough to be a civil vehicle and well controlled. Once you step up to faster cars, the scat pack for example, there's a lot of unnecessary power there that just makes it impractical yet super fun in the times when you get to exploit it. My recommendation is to test drive an R/T and see how you like it, if you feel like it needs more power then check out the ScatPack/SRT but for most the normal R/T is plenty of power. I'm just a tad bit power hungry, but even WOT in my R/T makes me smile every time and is damn quick for what it is.

Test driving an R/T won't be a problem, the 6.4L is a different story. Dealerships don't really let you take those out in order to keep the miles off of them. You will need someone to cosign for you, such as your dad, since you have no credit, basically saying if you can't make your payment then they will.

I've read that the service techs are able to tell through your ECU if it has been tuned and can still void it that way. I don't really want to chance something really bad happening and me having to pay for it out of pocket for only another 20-30hp.

+Jose Gomez Save urself some disappointment and get a charger, the Camaro u will eventually want more room. It may be a lil quicker at wide open but a couple mods and the charger really responds well and will come alive.

(3.06 gears, etc) - I'm only lacking the leather, sun roof, and the heated and cooled cup holders-all of which I can live without. I got this car for a crazy good deal so it was too good not to take. The cloth seats aren't too bad but the leather is indeed much nicer.
