In the first ride article it says they are Pirelli Diablo Rain Competition Tires.

We tested the 1190 Adventure back in August but some of our bike reviews don't have a video. Be sure to stop by the website for the latest reviews.

Thanks for the awesome first look Adam! It was nice to run into you at MotoGP at Laguna SECA. Keep up the hard work! :)

the same comment has been said about the 1199 saying it has no torque down low, if you want more power in general from a small package then the power is going to be at the top of the rev range, i mean look at 2 strokes for an example, people say their peaky but they make heaps of torque (for their cc), its just high in the rpm's

The 899 looks nice but where's the TFT display and single side swing arm? Yick, I'll keep my 1199R :-)

If the single sided swing arm makes it more difficult to lean, only a professional rider would notice it. I don't have issues leaning my R. The 899 msrp is $11,900 and 1199 starts at $18,900 so its not quite half the price. 1199 has the beautiful TFT display and LED headlights and the 899 doesn't. The extra torque and HP on the 1199 makes for a more exciting ride. The 1199 sounds better. I compared my HP4 to my Panigale R and the Ducati won all but one category, which was comfort. Check out the video. Ducati 1199 Panigale R vs BMW HP4: comparison video

That looks pretty tasty actually. Usually I'm not a fan of the ultra-clean Ducati look.

nice compromise ... I would like to take it out for a few laps !

Actually the the two sided swing arm provides more torsional rigidity so that the rear suspension doesn't flex as much. If you look at all the MotoGP bikes they're all double sided. Doesn't look as nice but provides better performance.

Sounds like a revvy 125, maybe it's just mic placement. Maybe it needs a good system.

hate single sided swing arms more money for less material and only a few lbs saved and it puts your brake disc in the line of fire for grease from the chain and requires a special stand

I didn't know I could be this bored by a review of a new sport bike. Guys seriously, I can look up the specs myself, and many times I already know. It's going to be about 400 pounds, it's going to have a bit more than 100hp and ride modes and...I don't give a shit. You're riding it, can you tell me something about that?
@Omar-bh8yf11 жыл бұрын
Can't review a bike in the wet, especially in the "limited time" you've said several times. It was an obvious attempt to squeeze something out of nothing.
