This is one one of my favorite Lemmo demoes. I love that he played clean in all positions. Les Pauls are obviously great for rockin. But they can be amazing for clean stuff, especially the ones with P90’s. Beautiful!

Dude!!!! I love hearing somebody play clean and dynamically pretty on a Les Paul. It's a versatile instrument, not some damn riff rock totem to wear like a top hat and a pair of Chucks. Beautiful stuff, Mike!

I love that you played some Johnny Marr! More please. I've seen Johnny with a red Les Paul with the P90's. I think his was minus the pick guard but otherwise looked the same as this R6, if I recall correctly.

It looks so light. Not used to that in a LP. Sounds great, Sweet Melisa would be a good song for it. P90's are great. Maybe a 1955 Gold Top reissue someday for me.

Gibson Deluxe Pro LPs are set up very similar. However; they can be heavy - mine comes in at 10 lb 8 oz!

Before taking a closer look at the pickup than the actual finished, I thought this guitar was meant to be an approximation of the model Eric Clapton gave to George Harrison that was christened "Lucy" in 1968. That I think was built with PAF-style pickups, not soapbar P90s. Also, the shade of the finish was slightly darker. Wouldn't that be a killer instrument to emulate, though? Edit: it wouldn't be a guitar I would purchase, however. I've got a personal embargo against getting signature editions. Even the Squier and Epiphone renditions are too pricy.

I have an R6 Gold Top. The neck on my guitar is thin. Not ridiculously so, but thin, nonetheless. Not anywhere near a baseball bat, I doubt I'd have bought it, if that were the case, as I only have smallish hands. It is light, and sounds incredible. P90's rule. Crank up my AC15 and all hell breaks loose.

The p90's sound better in the ES 330 and the Casino. In this Les Paul , yeah it does sound like a Fender. Good sound, but when the LP got the PAF's , that is where the magic happend.
