2014 GMC Sierra Throttle Body Clean and Relearn with HP Tuners!!

In this video I go over the steps of cleaning and relearning the throttle body on a 2014 GMC Sierra XLT. I am using HP Tuners to do the relearn procedure. Use this information at YOUR OWN RISK!!! This is just a video of how I personally clean a throttle body on most late model vehicles.

I have a 2015 silverado and I put the key in on position and press the gas pedal and the plate wont open?

I have a 2013 GMC Sierra 4x4 1500 , I put a cold air intake on it and cleaned air flow sensor also throttle body and now it dont go back to idle like it should . I opened the flap manually and I think I did it wrong . How can I reset the throttle body motor ?

There is a throttle body relearn procedure that you can do but it will likely take some driving time to get it back to normal for it to relearn manually. Just google the procedure on that particular model truck for relearning it. It’s just a click of a button though if you have hp tuners or a tech scanner.

Anytime you clean a throttle body on these newer vehicles it will need to be relearned.

No ..long as u put weight gas pedal in accesory mode ...it will open enough to clean ...i did it no problems on 2017 silverado

Yes it will work with windows 10. Thanks for watching!! Go to the hptuners.com website and you can download the software then it will ask for an application key. You will need to purchase the hp tuners mvpi or mvpi2 to use and then they will send you the application key to be able to use the hp tuners software.

No you shouldn’t have to. It’s under The controls and special functions on the VCM scanner.

Just look at the position of the butterfly, when you put it back put the butterfly in the same position as when you took it off.

Yeah I fucked I opened by hand and now it's make a noise when idling and when I give it gas it goes away 😆 🤣. What do I do?

You should’ve disconnected the batttery and did it by hand and put it back to normal how it was before u took of the battery and nothing would’ve happened
