If you have Sims 2 Ultimate collection and you're having a hard time Installing Sims and or Houses go here sims2pack.modthesims2.com/index.php?page=3 install the very first link now after installation go to whichever site you install your custom content on I prefer mod the Sims as well but anyway you pick a Sim or a house and you do the exact same steps that she is doing and it should work because it most definitely did for me.

So it should be on my EA folder but instead, it creates another EA folder with only the lot in it. Jessica Schmit If the cc appears in the house you downloaded then it’s in your game and you need to find it when you go to build another house. When going to a different property, it wouldn’t have the cc that the house you downloaded does

Now I want to put the house in my Lots and Bins, so I can always have the house I made with all my hard work. Is that possible? When I took out a family from another house, all of my hard work was gone. Please help!

+Donut Lover101 unfortunately once a family is moved into a house and moved out again, they will take everything with them. You should of packaged the house before putting the family in there. Then closed the game and installed the house again so that it will appear in the lot bin. Please don't package it now because a family has lived in it and if you package it and install the house like I said before. It may cause corruption in your game as your duplicating the sim references left behind in the house

jazzyluvswaka If you used this step then it won't work for cc because its meant for houses. There a tutorial for downloading cc but if that doesn't work either then theres a problem with the cc itself

I was able to install everything. When I go into my sims I see the house but once I click on it to place it, it freezes for a couple seconds and then says the application crashed and kicks me out of the game. What did I do wrong? Help!

Means the house you have downloaded is corrupted or if it has cc in it! It’s corrupted. You need to delete the house or follow my updated tutorial which is in the description

the ultimate collection is when you get it from origin. Erm the installer screen took a while to come up so if your computer is slow you might have to wait a bit

I believe the teleport folder is created if you export sims using simPE or if you have a witch in a family you're playing. I'm not sure. Google it but it's not needed. I didn't have it when I started using the ultimate Collection either

Because I've installed a couple of sims, but they won't show up in my game, and then I read something about needing to have some specific programs or something and do just like in this video, but I'm not sure how to do it. I've been installing costum content for sims 2 and 3 for YEARS and I have never in my life used Winrar or anything else, and I never used to have problems with sims not showing up in the game. I know that now. This was made over a year ago and I didn't trust the clean pack installer because it had a lot of bugs and things to still fix, but I use it now after everything was fixed. Maybe I should do an updated video about this?

So I have a question. I do not have ANY custom content on my game. But I really want to download a house because whenever I TRY to make houses there is to much open space and it doesn't look good. My question is that if I download a house with custom content, while I don't have any, will it screw up my game? Will I have that custom content? I'm so sorry for the late reply, if you download a house with custom content using the clean pack installer, it will tell you if it is clean or not. When installing with the clean pack installer, if any tin highlights as light blue then it's incomplete cc and it won't work, if anything highlights as red then it's a mod or hack, it's harmless if you want the mod or jack but if you don't then don't install it. If it highlights as pink then it's a duplicate file of a cc you already have in your downloads folder so it will just ask you to over ride the files already in your game or just don't install it. I'll do a tutorial on this by next week hopefully :)

+Cessadilla you can't uninstall it. You just need to find whatever you've installed and delete it. For example, if it's a house then you need to go to your lot bin and delete it, if it's a sim then you need to go to your sim bin in cas and delete it and if it's custom content, then you need to delete it out of your sims 2 downloads folder

when you want to package the house. you have to make sure no one is living in it. You go to the neighbourhood and click on the house once and there should be some snowflake looking sign and when you hover over it, it should say package file and you package it. Then a message should come up showing where the house has been packaged to and you go and fine the area in your computer abs it should be there
