I had issues with CC not showing in my game, so I did the following: 1. Deleted my cache files 2. Removed the CC from the Downloads folder to my desktop, then cut it back in. 3. Restarted my laptop 9/10 of them started working after that! I only had an issue with a top for my teens. As a bonus point, don't use the delete CC option when you're in the game itself, sometimes it makes the game glitch out.

Install a zip file, click the right mouse thingy, click select all, extract to ea games sims 2 downloads and there you go :) if you want to download rar files you'll need a special unsipper thingy wich she shows you in the video

i know this video is quite old now and you might not see this but ive downloaded one of your houses (with the cc) using the same steps as you. however, the house is never in the lot bin. have i missed something? i have the sims 2 ultimate collection.

If it doesn't work try dragging the lot/Sim pack to your folder then go to all programs you should have a folder that says Sims2cleanpack and press install all and install! It should work.

I just started playing sims 2 again because the gameplay is much better than sims 4. I can’t figure out how to get a sim installed though! I used the sims 2 clean installer. I see the items from the sim but I don’t get the actual sim in my sim bin. Am I doing something wrong? Maybe you didn't deleted the exact program, just the shortcut. Try going to the 'uninstall programs' in your control panel or something. Programs won't be deleted permanently if you won't uninstall it properly.

If it’s contact lenses not eye colours then it will appear in the custom mask area of the make up area menu when you’re in cas or sim blender - change appearance. If it’s eyes then it will appear in the eyes section of cas

+SimsIz_ Life it's not mandatory and like I said in the video, this is how I install it because I have all expansion and stuff packs but it still worked when I didn't have all of them. So you just do what you feel comfortable with for your game. I'm just showing you my method :)

I have loads of mods and cc so it makes it interesting and I don't just play one family, I play multiple so it makes it interesting too. I make houses and create a sims to download so I don't get bored either. I personally love the sims 2 more than any other game, but I know how you feel because I get bored after 30 minutes of playing the sims 4

i have a problem my cc replaces vanilla content and i completely lose vanilla hairstyles clothing and stuff like that

if it replaces normal in-game stuff like if you click on a vanilla hair and it turns into custom content, then you have default replacements in your game. You can take them out to return back to vanilla stuff. If you're talking about when you download stuff and it just appears in your create a sim, the vanilla stuff is at the back of the list, you just have to scroll to it. Anything custom content will have a flower-like a symbol on its picture preview.

Vuca2 yes there is. Just don’t download default replacements. Normal cc won’t replace vanilla hair and default replacements you download will state that they are default replacements

The different is what your windows system is. You can find out what your system is by searching System on your windows and it will either say 64bit or 32bit. If it’s 64 bit then you download the x64 version but if your system is 32 bit then you download the x86 version. I hope that helps 😊

The house should download and when it does you need to check your neighbourhood lot bin for it. It will be in there. If an error message comes up when you try to install the house then you need to follow the message. Does it happen with every house or just 1 house

I’m late to this, but my sims2pack clean installer doesn’t have the option to “install” any of the downloads when I open the page. Can anybody tell me why? Touchmyroses the install button is only need for sims and houses. Normal cc and package files just need to be put into your downloads folder like shown in the video. The boolprop cheat has to be put in properly with the right spacing and spelling. Google it to make sure it’s right

+Sharice G I fixed my main non cc crashing by right clicking the application and running the troubleshoot compatibility and making it run as windows 7. But I still crashed occasionally so I bought windows 8 and wiped my computer clean to install windows 8. But if it still crashes then you'll need to check your cc. Something is wrong there

The pack installer is only for sims or houses packaged with the clean pack installer. Normal Custom content like hair etc doesn’t need that. You just put it in your downloads folder like I showed in the video

+XTaniaaX have you checked your entire lots bin because it might be at the end of middle of it depending on what's it's called. Check where the house was made? I've had this issue with a house that I couldn't find in my neighbourhood lot bun but then I contacted the creator and they asked if I've checked all sub neighbourhoods like downtown or university. The house popped up in my university neighbourhood bin because it was a maxis makeover of a university house so it was packaged there. Do you have all expansion and stuff packs needed for the house? Was the package called an empty package? Because if it was then there's no house. When you used the clean installer did it say it was successful?

Have you looked through your whole 'choose existing sim' area. They could be at the back

I literally just deleted windows 10 and reinstalled 7. my sims 2 game never crashed until windows 10. after about 30 minutes i played it terminates.

Like it says in the video...you then create one inside your sims 2 folder and spell it like ‘Downloads’

+Leah you need to look at what they are, if it's a mod or animation/pose box it will be red...well some. But if it's not something you want in your game then take it out

+Life Crystal if ea are asking for your bank details or PayPal info then leave because they shouldn't do that but If they are asking for your origin security/verification answer to your verification question to confirm your identity then that's fine.

+Eren Kızıl no, i cant reupload my folder, it's against creators terms of use, plus it contains over 30K files and I don't think normal computers can handle. If something went wrong then you will blame me. There are plenty of tutorials on KZbin that can help you install without the clean pack installer :)

JamJamJeon you click on its download link in the description box. Clock on the uploads tab of the download page and click the ‘sims2packinstaller.zip’ it’s pretty simple

+Oka Ruto I downloaded it just fine, you have to make sure you search your lot bin in the neighbourhood and then place it down. It's a small house so it will be hard to spot
