2014 impala audio install (part1)

I this is how to remove the back dash on this vehicle. I'm setting up for a car audio install I'll be using pioneer TS - m 800 ProSeries speakers basically the 8 inch midrange speakers and also 4 inch bullet tweeters this'll be a complete wall blocking out my back window so I'll probably have to get a rearview camera put in full-time
I will be using 8-8 inch Pioneer speakers and 4-4 inch bullet tweeters pioneer also
I have to remove the back dash to make my faceplate this faceplate will be the guide to where my box will be installed and how my box will be built . The reason why is because I'm going to center out and space my speakers as I want them, I will actually cut ont my hoes and mount the speakers on the faceplate itself ensuring I have enough space to build a box behind my faceplate. I will mark out where I want my box install for two boxes one for the top one for the bottom and then mount my faceplates as cosmetics.
Sounds whack I know ,but I've done this before on previous vehicles and it comes out to be nice. last a long time very low maintenance your seats will still go up and lock, your children can still sit in the back and as long as you secure your boxes well in case of a car crash you won't have speakers around.

Can you post a few pics of send them directly to me. What kit did you use to install it all or did you have to go direct through the wires? Does all of your factory controls and bluetooth work like OEM? Sorry for the million questions I just want a better radio

I'm just busy sometimes man I'm not trying to ignore you but yes your Bluetooth will continue to connect and I don't have a kit installed yet I have to pretty much build my own kit and I ran everything separate I did not cut any wires and as far as I know they don't make a wiring kit for this vehicle yet. I do have an aftermarket radio installed now but not completely set with a kit just don't have the time to figure one out yet but the secondary screen that did exist there I removed .but the in dash factory screen next to your speedometer still works and the factory radio still work to the door speakers my aftermarket radio works with the speakers I installed separately. So I can remove my aftermarket radio or have it off or on and still play my factory radio FM AM XM CD I just do not have access to the secondary screen I removed to install my aftermarket radio .

ARE THE WIRES ALREADY IN THE REAR DECK? I HAVE NO DECK SPEAKERS CURRENTLY. IF THE WIRES ARE NOT THERE WHERE DO I RUN THEM TO?

How did you run the hot line from the battery?

Ran it through front drivers side quarter panel . Removed front drivers side door sill / kick panel cover and drilled a hole. . I ran a 0 guage had to cut one of my locking clips from the plastic door sill/ kick panel.

Yes the front has a secondary lock ring.u have to pull the plastic caps up on ur seat,then with a pen or screw driver .kneeling down on ur front seat facing ur rear window if u look down where ur headrest rod is coming out , u can push the looped ring to one side while holding pressure on the head rest up. Bad thing is u have a ring on each rod. Take ur time use a flashlight, don't rip ur seat. It's really easy after u do it once.

Hey man I have a question about the audio can you email me? Will a normal double din 7-8-9" fit into this car? I have the little radio and want to replace it

I have an 8 " alpine in it right now, it is just set in there, but looks like I might have to do some cutting in the back because the radio hits in the back.it is sticking out of my dash to much.ill have to look at it more, cuz I know there are wires factory wires back there. if I can get it to go in bout 1" then I might just have to cut the side bezels on the dash .( the ones connected to the ac vents)
