very helpful video except the oil plug is a T40, i went and bought a T45 and it ended up being too big

My drain plug is not a t45.. my plug was too small for that bit.

Plug won’t come off I striped it. Tried pliers and everything any advice?

What is that plastic rod for? I broke it.

I’m not completely sure, Looks like a alignment rod so the filter sits in the center. But I am not an expert and would take it to a local shop if your not comfortable with it broken.
