you guys should try to get those bikes out on the street and tell us how they ride there.

Just recently picked up the 2014 ninja 636... holy shit this bike is amazing! My first ever supersport and WOW.... my short 3 years of riding ever, on a versys 650 (tall n heavy sport-tourer), went into this 636 and made riding hard in the twisties 5 times easier. The smoothness of the bike really shows when whippin into every turn. 10/10 would buy a newer model in the future.

When I saw your first comparison video on the duc, mv and suzi im really hopping that you guys also include the 636 on the comparison. Then I saw this video. Man.. was I satisfied with the result.. i know that the 636 time would be on par with those 3 bike.. Great bike. Proud to own one of this..easy on the road..fast on the track..never regret buying such a great piece of engineering. Thanks for the great vid..

I test rode 636 back to back with 750 and even though Ninja is a nice bike being 5' 8" I didn't feel comfortable on the bike. When I tried to hug the tank only my knees were touching it, thighs were not. That meant that I couldn't hold my upper body with my legs and had to rest on my arms. After 15 minutes of riding it my arms (not wrists!) were tired. The strong engine braking didn't help as every time I rolled off throttle the inertia would push my whole body weight onto my arms. Jumped on the GSX-R750 and it instantly felt comfrotable. No strain on my arms, could hug the tank and hold my body with my legs, no crazy engine braking and don't need to rev as high as on 636 (70mph in 2nd gear felt perfectly normal whereas it would have probably been 4th on Ninja). Seating position was very similar to S1000RR that I test rode a couple weeks ago, maybe sliiiightly less agressive. The engine wasn't as hot though :) Also, one thing is to test ride them on a circular desert track, another in real world environment where, let's be honest, 99.9% of us will be using them. These 3 videos just proved me how different my experience is with bikes comparing to "reviews" like this.

If this was included the Daytona 675R should have been.

+justwhatever Ok troll. Tell me then why Triumph sales numbers are higher than they have ever been, even compared to before the recession. Go watch the reviews and see how many comparisons the Daytona has won. I know many people who own Daytonas, Street Triples and Speed Triples who say it's the best bike they've ever owned, myself included. ZX-6R is worthy competitor, but Japanese bikes are not always better, and I work at a Japanese bike dealership.

it is cuz the 675 cc is the standard normal size for a triple racing with 600s, like the twins are 800 something. i like the 675 but it is more of a standard size for a middleweight if it is a triple unlike the 636 for a four cylinder bike

Don't hate on the heed! That hair is practically a trademark!
This is why 1000cc riders HATE 600cc riders! 🤬
