Maybe due to bad maintenance. To long oil change intervals?

Hello, i have the same mini 1.5d with fault codes for MAF, exhaust pressure, o2 sensor and swirl flap. It feels like it has a missfire on idle sometimes but drives fine. Did you change the pressure sensor or was just the blocked pipe the fault here?.

Is the BMW X1 2.0D (F48) a similar layout to this engine, just bigger capacity? Having error code saying mass air flow, and wondering if this stupid pipe blocked on mine.

Great ideo AGAIN - who makes this engine - Ive only ever seen the 1.6 diesel (peugeot) ones - when you said 1.5 Diesel & the faults I thought Renault - but they are 4 cylinder (clio) etc Thanks for posting videos - 👍👍

I’ve always took glow plugs out with a 1/4 mini breaker bar. On the iveco n Mitsubishi 3.0 engines they seize up really well, so lots of wd40, literally loosening 1/4 turn and then tightening and then loosening until it comes out. Last thing I want is a broken glow plug on the side of the engine haha

Had the misfortune of dealing with one of these today, stupid design, touch the breather pipe and it turns to dust 😂 Unfortunately the sensor was also dead. Have you tried cleaning the pipes on these the same way as the renault engines?
