It makes a nice change that the fault description actually relates to the fault, rather to than something unrelated. Far easier not having to decipher a gobbledegook fault description before being able to actually resolve the issue.

My mrs has just had a mini at a mini dealer and they are saying the swirl flaps are sticking and want 1400 for a manifold job. I guess this is why it was getting a eml light?

There's an official PSA carbon cleaning tool. I can't remember exactly what it is but it's a powder, which you blast, however the difference is that any residue is simply dissolved away with a chemical - look into it, it must be available aftermarket!

You could block the egr. Everybody advises that. But I read just blocking the egr can cause other issues. Like hotter temperature in combustion chamber..... Is this true. Or is there no harm is just blocking the egr valve with a plate and leave it with that? Would love to hear your opinion on that baz? Thanks

I have a Launch 919x that I bought for £300 on ebay with which I've done MAF adaptations reset on a 2010 BMW 330D. I've not tried this function on my son's 2016 Mini Cooper 1.5 D, but I'd be surprised if my Launch tool couldn't do it.

great video one of reason never to buy a mini that is got to be supermarket fuel I have see porsche and maserati filling with that fuel if you use good fuel then you dont get that slobber
