2014 Mustang GT 5.0 - 5 Things I LOVE!

IMO, the 10-14 is the best modern iteration of the mustang; the 13-14 being the crescendo. I have an 06 and a 13 and although I love my 06, the improvements in the exterior and interior styling of the 10-14 are leaps and bounds better. The 13-14 even reminds me more of the FOX/Capri than any other mustang. It just seems to have the magic of all generations rolled into a single piece of art. I loved the interior so much I did an adaptation to the 2012 in my 2006; stock wiring adapted to the dash, clock spring, and modded an 07 my color cluster to fit the top cover of the 13. It now has nav, hands free sync and eventually I'll put in the backup camera. I even converted to the '12 roof console. Everything works except for the TCS switch, which likely needs a resistor, cluster programming or both. Even the message center works flawlessly. I also swapped the hvac LEDs to blue and built a custom center stack panel with boost controller & A/F gauges at the top, Kenwood stereo/NAV system; (steering wheel controls work.) provision in the center and the stock hvac controls sitting at the bottom. It was a lot of work but worth every second of my time.

The 11-12 has so much plastic all over the outside of the car. The 13-14 facelift with all painted rockers/bumper makes it look much nicer and cleaner in my opinion. The 11-12 front end does look amazing when modded.

i just got mine like a week ago with just the flowmaster outlaws it sounds amazing deep and throaty exshaust and its lounder when u hear it in person diff recommended

What are you referring to when mentioning "3rd gear lock out?

The mt82 transmission is known to have lock-out - won’t let you shift into third gear at certain higher rpms. Switching out the clutch and/or shifter helps reduce this.

Amen to the bit about bad exhaust setups on coyotes, they can sound awesome but all too often I hear these super raspy setups that just. No.

I’m biased, but I think that would be a good trade. The S197, especially 13-14 is goated. Looks far better than the S550 in my opinion as well. But the S550 is a fantastic platform.
