I need to find more events with the Bart Conner and Amanda Borden coverage! This was beyond refreshing commentary from the both of them. Fair, positive and encouraging no matter which team they were discussing. I would LOVE for them to take over for the NBC broadcasts!

Absolutely, I feel like BBC commentary is also really positive, but Amanda does amazing. She actually praises and doesn’t trash talk. It’s actual comments on the routines matter of fairly and really seems empathic when athletes do have a mistake

Alas, she hasn't done any commentating - yet. If that isn't a recipe for success, I don't know what is! :)

No one tied Raisman at the floor final in 2012. She got a crazy 15.6 which no one could even touch. Catalina Ponor came "close" with a 15.2. Thank you SO SO SO MUCH! for uploading this! hard to find it in canada
@tackssherbo71048 жыл бұрын
Nicky ... I know this is a very late response, but I just noticed your comment. Sporting events are not "hard to find," because they are actually BLOCKED. It most likely has all to do with restricted broadcasting rights, broadcast contracts, lost commercial revenue and/or copyrights. To my absolute fury, my cable company dumped the three Canadian channels that I loved to watch some years ago because it got into a spitting match over commercial revenue and duplicate programming. I know events are blocked because I tried accessing Olympic events through Canada (from the American side) and was told "this is not available in your country" although I COULD access the Olympic medal tally and winners' detail through that Canadian website. Anything else was off limits to me. After these Olympics were over, a poster in another location suggested people could access sporting events by using a website called "hola(dot)org." where you could access sporting events through proxy servers in other countries. I didn't try fussing with it or trying to use it yet because the Olympics were already over, but you might want to keep this in mind for other championship events. Of course, you may well get the events in other languages.

+Hihi Kay Americans have no grace? that's BS. many are very gravceful. there is always the exception. but I believe most people say they are not "_graceful or artistic" because they do nnot train as ballerinas. russians do. Romanian s do. that just isn't enough any more with the COP. some ballet and dance is necessary but its clear that difficulty reigns. and balletic style doesn't equal artistry, contrary to popular belief. Marissa Kelley Yes, I guess it's very subjective what we enjoy to watch, it's normal to have different opinions. I don't mind power on bars and it's a must on vault, but personally I don't enjoy power without grace on the beam. When it comes to floor, I'm still on the fence. I think for me it's about the music as well and if I don't enjoy the music at least a tiny bit, then it's a bit ruined for me.
