I never cared for Japanese cars for the longest time. I was a big Corvette and Mustang guy, but this, this car is epic. Nissan changed the game when they unveiled GTR to the United States.

I own a R35 GT-R and I agree 100% that it has a soul your just have to keep pushing the GT-R's performance and you will find that soul people need to go test drive or buy one to find out for them self

Its just like when the nsx first came out. People didn't even give it a second look because it was made by honda and now its considered one of the most important super cars to have ever been made. It really changed the game just like this gtr.

I agree with everything you said except that GT-R is a gorgeous car & attracts more attention that Porsche's, BMW's & Ferrari's the problem is that GT-R is not very photogenic the car looks ugly in almost every pic u see online, looking at the car in person a different story Trust Me ...I own a GT-R and the funny thing is when other big name cars see my car they are so intimidated Godzilla is rolling next to them.. all non believers drive the car, one launch & your balls will be in your eardrums & you'll be overwhelmed...The best car I've ever owned & the trunk & back seats are FUNCTIONAL.

Lol... yes I agree with you.... I own a skyline 350gt and modified to the specs I love about it. All that said ... the GTR still top it along with other super cars that cost 4 times over... This track star has a rear transmission and front mid engine along with all wheel drive and gear shifts that dominate tracks all day long.. I think the car is Unique and powerful looking. . LOL Its a man's car

The transmission of the older models felt a bit more clunky, but just pop the suspension into COMFORT and leave the transmission in Auto and it's fine in traffic.

I own one 2014 black Opal. He's right, it's not for everyone , but every time I take it out, it always puts a smile on my face. I think of it this way, Rottweilers are not for everyone, but it's still a beautiful dog... some just would rather own poodles 😊

GT-R always provide the super car performance at a rather affordable package. (Compare to some European super cars) This car might not be the prettiest, but man does it go. Over time, the style of this car has grown on me it really have it's own distinctive flavor.

Switching to "R" mode doesn't avoid your warranty..only if you turn off the VDC..then it will avoid your warranty..

Actually it would not be dangerous at all there are a lot of cars that have 500-600HP and even more and have a manual transmission. The reason they don't wanna make it is because it would make the car slower since you could not launch the car as fast.

i agree with this video totally. the nissan gtr is probably the best "bang for your buck" car in the world. for $100,000 you are getting a car that will beat nearly anything on the track. That being said the car may not be the prettiest or have the pedigree of an aston martin or a lamborghini. but that is not the purpose of the car. it is meant to be driven hard and kick ass on the race track. never underestimate the japanese, they are incredibly good with automotive technology

you know what would be awesome? If Nissan comes out with a bare bones GTR; no leather, no bose speaker system, no computer screen; just a switch to put it on comfort/race mode, no rear seats, no heated power seats, and everything else a race car doesn't need. Then use lighter materials and make it 300 lbs lighter and sell it for something like $70k. That would be awesome.
