2014 SJPORR Challenge - TY024US Review

I was sad to see comments that the beer was flat and no head. I was telling Nate that I accidentally over carbed when I was trying to bottle using the beer gun it was foaming like mad. So I let the keg sit at low CO2 for a couple days to try and get the carb down and I think that might have a little reason why you guys are getting flatter beers. It sounds like the flavor and aroma are hitting the marks, if it smells and tastes like a pumpkin pie then I succeeded. Thanks for the review, Cheers!

Good Review. This was my first Pumpkin Ale also. I think that the pumpkin fruit kills the head a bit. After it warmed a bit it seemed like it formed more head. I pictured an actual Pumpkin Cream Pie when I tried it.

sucks about the carbonation. wonder if you had a leaker, tyler usually does a really good job and i'm sure he bottles from the keg! cheers!
