Excellent review. I have bought the GT version of this car. I had a Golf plus for three years which has been reliable. This SV is a very good package for anyone wanting a practical vehicle. On future reviews please get rid of the microphone and clip a radio mic on your lapel.

I very much appreciate your reviews, mostly due to the fact that in the part of Europe where I live, English is the most widely spoken second language (I blame that on the media, the Hollywood movies, the tv series, but that's another story). So even though I understand a bit of German, it is much easier to hear the review in English. I hope you can find the time to do an English version to all the reviews, I missed the one on The SLK350 and the Landrover Defender. And stop apologising for the accent :) , I think you have a good audience in Eastern Europe, and your accent is not as bad as ours.. and keep up the good work :)

I do have a question, if ypu load up the car for a family vacation, what would be your configuration? comfort sports or a personalisation? With a journey between autobahn and curvy country road!

I would rather take comfort over sport as I rather drive comfortable than sporty. If the budget allows it, I would go for the DCC (adaptive dampers). [Jan]

+Ausfahrt.tv I agree with you but, the extra weight on the dampers would make them travel more, here in Portugal we have many speed bumps so wouldn't be better if i use the sport mode to prevent that? ou its all the same?

We could really use this in the USA. It has a lot of room inside and it's not a CUV or SUV.
