I love the new iPhone SE because THAT IS ALL I NEED and wish there was a MacBook equivalent to compete with the more affordable PC laptops. It might cannabilize some high end MBP market share but would certainly make it up by brining PC users over. It would also kill the 2nd hand MBP market which is very strong.

Really the SD slot is the only port I miss while portable. I have a travel hub but putting the SD in the travel hub and having to "eject" it everytime I unplug the hub is annoying. I could quickly swap between my Surface and MacBook with really quickly now I have to remember it is in the hub.

I hated the poor battery life of the 2015, the rubber that goes around the screen eventually wears out and starts to dirty the computer, the keys fade very quickly and the cpu heats up very easily. Also the sound is very poor compared to others on the market, so I will upgrade to the 2019 hoping to fix these problems.
@georgedomse4 жыл бұрын
Of course the 2019 model is better in almost every compartment, but I still have two remarks. 1.) you are too biased towards the new one. Screen comparison - none of those Google websites is white. One is blue, the other is more orange. There is no "paper-like" feeling on any of them. Speakers - do you really recommend these shitty speakers for music production? Come on... whilst it is true that the speakers on the 16" model is one of the best out now, it still has no real accurate bass, high are missing and high-mids are too present. This is an inherent flaw of small speakers - you can't cheat physics. 2.) the price difference on these machines is almost ridiculous - I mean the 16" model costs 5-6 times as much as the 2015, but with everything said it won't give you 5-6 times the experience.
@Devil-dt9vc4 жыл бұрын

2015 keyboard is loud? Are you kidding me? It’s the softest ... seeing this, I feel you are just trying hard to praise every aspect of the new one. Including the screen part.
@MaxTechOfficial5 жыл бұрын
The display is many many times better, and the keyboard is definitely louder. -Vadim

Max Tech I have both on me, the new one is way more clicky, the old one is softer and it doesn’t make much sound. As for the screen, the new one is noticeably yellower even True Tone is off. I actually prefer the old one based purely on temp. Also, the speaker on the new one is awesome, but no where near the level where you can use it as a studio monitor, if you’re doing anything serious.

I sold my 2017 MacBook Pro, 15 Zoll, 256 GB to downgrade to 2015 MacBook Pro, 15 Zoll 1 TB. One thing I hate the most is all the missing ports of Mac after 2015, once you attached it with those external ports, you will feel that you are dealing with a patient with many blood vessels, esp if you are doing it with your music devices.

Dear Apple, due to Apple logo and ports compared to 2015 im not going for 16' sorry, Please please please Apple bring back old Apple logo in next launch atleast then definately promise u will buy Macbook pro :)

I bought, and returned, a 2018 mbp. I found the "True Tone" display suffered from the same overly yellow effect that some Thunderbolt displays exhibited. the 2015 laptops have much more accurate colour. This reviewer isn't a designer. I kept my 2015 MBP.
@DanilsandBlogspot4 жыл бұрын
You can switch off True Tone and calibrate the display. That's what I did.

1:40 wrong. the 2019 16 inch macbook pro is in both dimensions about 1mm smaller than 2015 15 inch macbook pro horizontally.

Hi, I really like your videos, keep it going. Now can you make a comparison between the base 2020 13” MacBook Pro and that 2015 15” MacBook Pro?

is the 15'' from 2015 enough for a graphic design student?
@joeypan55614 жыл бұрын
more than enough. i'm still rocking 2015 15'' and working as a professional entertainment designer since 2016.

Angra Pan wow! Okay now I‘m relieved, I just think the newer ones are overpriced and a lot of people are very unhappy with them, thank you very much!!
@joeypan55614 жыл бұрын
you’re welcome! I totally agree. If you are on budget can’t afford newest 16” MBP. Maxed-out 2015 15”(m370x dedicated graphics) is best value and reliable work machine. I’m satisfying since day one I owned it. Not to mention that any butterfly keyboard (2016~2019) Macbooks ,those are overpriced, not reliable definitely keep them away.

You got a couple things wrong in this video, the newer macbooks dont have the glowing logo because light was shining through the translucent plastic and burning the display

I’m still considering getting the 2015 MacBook Pro because I mostly just want MacOS. I’m very confident that I can get most of my daily needs satisfied by the 2018 iPad Pro, with only desktop-related tasks done on the Mac device I end up getting. It’s either the 2015 MacBook Pro or the 2018 Mac Mini.

You compare a 32GB Ram to a 16GB Ram. Is that fair? I mean to get a 32GB Ram 2010 Macbook Pro is going to cost you a lot; probably too much. And as I understand it, what you buy is what you will have; RAM is not upgradeable.

How does the 2014 15 inch macbook pro stand vs the 2015?
@artistnyc123 Жыл бұрын
Just bought a 2015 MacBook Pro pretty much fully loaded except for the SSD is 500 MB but it's got the extra graphics card AMD. I got it on Back Market for $395 and the condition is specified as "excellent" which with this company means essentially brand new. I believe I will get at least another 5 to 10 years out of it but will probably replace it with an M2 or M3 five years from now

kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGmVh2lposmdj6c Here's a video from Snazzy Labs with the 2019 2.4GHz 8-core 15" MBP. His 2.4 15" model scored 3231 in Cinebench R20 Our 2.3 15" model scored 3183 That's about 1% faster performance for $200 more. The results should stay around the same for the 16", and even if it goes up to 3% faster, it's still not worth $200.

Sure you can, but note, that mac OS does not support Nvidia graphics cards since like five or more years now. Tho this doesn't mean you won't be able to use it in Windows in dual boot, but if you need it in use on mac OS the AMD Radeon is the only way.

..I love my 2013 ...the keyboard...love it..my 2008 Late ALU 13" MacBook as well...older but still love them, I think my main issue with the newer keyboards isn't so much their "travel" but their size, i feel like I am over stretching my fingers while I try to type on it

Would a 2015 MacBook Pro 13 inch in barely used condition be a good buy for $350?
