You don't blow any air filter out with compressed air unless you're wanting to open up the media and reduce its filtering ability.

I agree, cut too short, should’ve cut longer tucked it back inside the hollow seal removed the one pin, and pushed through both of them.

I replaced my stock cool air intake last week with this cool air intake. This week my check engine light came on. I determined it was the pcv valve and hose. Is the cool air intake the cause of the pcv valve going bad? Could someone please let me know? Thanks!

Would a drop in KN filter let the engine breathe as good ad this?

A drop-in filter from K&N wouldn't allow your engine to breathe as open as a full kit like this Roush option show. It *would* absolutely breathe better than your stock paper filter though! Drop-ins are a really nice budget-friendly option if you aren't looking to spend a ton of money, or aren't looking at getting your hands dirty with a more involved installation. -Zach

OK, just got mine. It had a plug extender and a bracket. Where does the bracket go?

This was only needed for newer range of model years to attach harness to. Roush instructions are more complete.

Correct. While the intakes (Raptor vs Non-Raptor Ecoboost) are practically identical we have a separate 'Raptor specific' part number on our site. -Justin
