Ive had this on my 2020 2.7 for about a year and 1/2. Have had zero problems with it. Sounds amazing each and every time i drive my truck.

I love it mine. I get a little nervous when I drive in heavy rains, but I've never had any issues. The only negative i've noticed is about a loss of 1mpg or so in economy, which I thought was strange because most of these tout an increase in economy. I usually chalk it up to more "spirited" driving so I can hear those beautiful whirly-bois sing.

Figured I'd add it, Hardly any other video even mentions it, let alone shows the installation process.

I think you're going to be pleased. Mine has performed well and I haven't had a single issue.

Very nice looking and quality kit. FYI, that is a MAF sensor and is to be cleaned with CRC Mass air flow cleaner. The Dealership Techs will grab anything, Don't do it please. Thanks for sharing, appreciate it. Cheers from Motown.

Do you have any other mods done to the truck? Or you achieved that sound with just the intake? Sounds great!
@kylegeldmaker3 ай бұрын
That's the intake and a NiceCNC VTA plug. it's a 3 minute install that vents the air from the recirculating pipe to the atmosphere. The whoosh is the intake, the pssst is the VTA :)

im assuming this would sound the same on a 23 f150 2.7?
@zero_garage Жыл бұрын
I can't imagine it would be too different. I checked Injen's site for a '23 2.7 and it lists the same exact part number (PF9015WB) I installed.

Any other mods besides the intake? The blow off sound aggressive.
@zero_garage Жыл бұрын
@@leecarter2768 I have a NiceCNC VTA plug from Amazon. The blow off is definitely audible, but the intake sound is pretty intense. You really start the hear induction around 1700-1800 RPMs and it's very loud around 3k. Honestly, it sounds like a massive boost leak, but in a good way. I have a couple GoPros and a case with a mod for a microphone - I'll see if I can rig something up that won't just sound like a bunch of wind across a crappy phone mic.
