You missed the bottom 3 brackets that keep the spacing correct. Learned this the hard way.

What do you mean ? I installed this grill jjst like the video said with the top 4 bracket and the two at the bottom .. just like in the video! It’s doesn’t sit flush with the truck tho… it pops out from the sides and I feel like the middles is to deep? Was that the problem you had? I slash notices I have extra brackets besides the one for the camera.. do I need to install this as well?

Yeah same here. Didn’t use the bottom brackets, then realized what they were for, as they are never mentioned in the video once. The instructions provided by rough country has the worst diagrams, dark and can hardly see which orientation the tabs are facing. Terrible instructions, after much wrestling and undo/ redo, it looks solid. It’s not flush with the plastics but along the hood line and bumper it’s nice and consistent, all in all not bad, wish the install experience was better! Revamp those instructions rough country wth

Hello I try installing it but the hood doesn’t closed all the way by any chance did you guys lower the bumper ?thanks

Cool installation instruction which is very useful. Unfortunately I am not feeling this grill.

Followed instructions to a T and the grill does not line up properly how it looks in the video. It doesn’t lay flush with trim it pokes out. The piece where the grill mounts lines up to the truck and the grill itself still likes out! 😑.. 5 hours messing with this thing and I’m going to end up returning it 🤦🏽‍♂️
