Love it! Subscribed!! Too many other companies on the market do 2.25" when it came down to the two individual exhaust pipes at the back of the car. I understand that you want to keep a bit of back pressure but thats too small. Your 2.5" pipes are PERFECT! Still keeps back-pressure BUT also retains maximum exhaust flow! Thank you for actually taking the time to build a quality exhaust for the Ecoboost model!

True. Ive owned an Evo X before and had a 3" AMS turbo back exhaust and it did wonders! But... with a dual exhaust, it actually helps to split to a 2.5" for both exit pipes. The flow through the exhaust stays strong and true. Not wasted.

I'm not the biggest fan of 4 cylinders, especially on a Mustang. But, for what it's worth, Ford did an amazing job with this. Those are amazing numbers (both horsepower and torque for a 4 cylinder), great internals, and good gas mileage. I'm kind of sad it's on a Mustang but for what it's worth I think Ford did a fantastic job on this. I'm just glad they gave it proper horsepower and torque to make it semi-worthy of being called a Mustang. I give it a 8/10!

I kinda want one along side of my gt350, for something to play around with. Ive seen a few builds making above 500whp and running great times at the track. I do not mind the 4 banger sound

It's almost funny hearing that sound coming out of a mustang :) The exhaust looks like a nice setup though. Everything bolted up so effortlessly, plus the free flowing exhaust definitely picks up power on a turbo motor.

The fitment is very tight on the kit.Once installed everything fits well but I spent a little bit of time off camera moving things around to get it spot on.

I bet most of the people hating on the Ecoboost still ask their mom to drive her Corolla. If you know anything about cars you would know Ford is going in the right direction with smaller engine turbos. I love my Ecoboost and when I go to car meets, it gets more attention than the 5.0

I installed a catted down pipe and deleted my resonator and added the "Y" pipe and use the stock mufflers. That's as far as I'm going. Like many I grew up modding V8's and just cant adapt to the 4 banger sound. I do like the RS sounds though, and the active exhaust on the 4banger stang's 019's I must admit sound pretty good. I bought my 18 for a daily driver(long work miles) and I installed my Intercooler with Stage3 Cobb tune and this is now truly a fun car to drive. Most rice burners now don't stand a chance. Still waiting to hook up with the others in the hood. The older V8's I ran we were either side by side or I was slightly ahead from the dig, and that was before the intercooler/tune. I have a bud with this exhaust and I cant say I hate it, but its just not my shtik.

This is a great sounding exhaust, and even a better looking car! But in my personal opinion, this sound should not be coming from a mustang at all; the style and sound are contracting and should be kept separate. I would probably stick with a stealth-back on an ecoboost.

Like I said in the video you will want a tune because the car will run quite rich with this setup, that is the black smoke you see.

It requires a tune, because of the increased air flow. That black smoke is simply the result of the un-burned fuel.

Installing this exhaust requires a tune, but does that affect reliability? And does this void the warranty?

A proper tune will not affect reliability at all. As far as the warranty that will vary from dealer to dealer. FRPP is offering tunes for these cars now that do not void any warranty.

Brandon S It is not good for the car to run rich for an excessive amount of time. If you are going for the off road setup you will want to get a tune when you install this system. The high flow cat version would be better off if you didn't want an immediate tune.

Man I just can't get behind that sound... I would love the economy of the ecoboost as a daily driver opposite my 5.0 but it just doesn't make the right noise to fit the look of the S550. In, say, a Focus/Fiesta ST, that noise is perfect. But it just doesn't fit the Mustang. Sort of like if a big black dude like Terry Crews had a voice like Gilbert Gottfried. Just ain't right..

We are running a Cobb Stage 1 tune with our Accessport and no lights so far but you will want a custom tune, especially with the off road since it runs quite rich now.

as far as I'm concerned the first true mustang with a 4 cylinder was the SVO Fox Body Mustangs. it was either 84 to 85 or 85 to 86 i down remember. turbo 4cyl that put out great power. mustang went a little back in time with there decision to add ecobosst to the mustang line up
