what if you don't have the key at all? what if you lost the key completely ? is there a way to open it?

This happened to me. I use the key fob. Unlock it. It beeped then died. Couldn't get in the car. Found this method. Will apply in a few hours. Most likely. Is it the battery of the car or the battery of the fob?

I was able to open my door and crank it. But u changed the battery in my keyfob and it still doesn't lock or unlock my doors. Do you know what could be the issue? I also called a locksmith and he claims the keyfob is good
