I’ve had my 2016 wrx since 17k miles, put it on MAP stage 1 tune almost immediately and I’m at like 60k miles now. I moved to Long Island and there aren’t any twisty roads, just going fast in straight lines. I’m thinking maybe a stage 2 kit from MAP and this meth injection along with a pro tune is what I want. I’d be happy with a reliable 350 whp. I can’t expect anything more from the price and time I’ve had with this car, there will always be someone faster

Yeah you definitely need a tune with that. I highly recommend running that green failsafe wire to a relay to cut boost if there’s an issue with the aem kit. Other than that excellent vid mad lad!

It was protuned soon after and ran like a scorched ape - big gains on a stock car. I sold it though and have a 2024 Mustang GT now. On to the next project!

I noticed with my supercharged frs as I went down in ml size the happier it got without a tune. I have the jackson carb tune so I don't want to mess with it passing emissions is nice. I started at the recommended size no dice went all the way down to 60-100 ml seems to be the happy point. cools the intake charge cleans everything prevents detonation and picks up some tq happy camper. great vid!

I thought is mainly for when your driving around awhile and then you use it. Bring the hot intake temps down. If anything it should help clean the valves nicely.

Thanks for showing. Am seriously considering an AEM unit for my home built trike: '91 2.5L Dodge Shelby turbo engine, intercooled with plus 20% injectors. Maybe I didn't catch this right; are you injecting into the hot side of the cooler? I would think a few inches before the throttle body would be a better point to spray the boost juice. You did a super install, very clean indeed!

I was injecting a few inches from the throttle body, its a very short jump because the IC is on top.

Subaru Ecu will pull timing ect when it notices something odd u HAVE to tune them they did that so it would be more reliable but people don’t realize it has it limits.. definitely get a pro tune and I promise it would be 100% night and day difference
