Add a hockey puck to your jack saddle to protect the rail, pinch weld, and plastic rails.

@@ninjasarereal5883 I agree. I said to protect the rail, pinch weld, and plastic rail. At the end when he jacks up the car using the rail. A hockey puck will protect the powder coating and give longevity to the rail.

Are the bolts reverse treaded or it's just the video? It looks that he was tightening towards the left which is weird.

What do those two screws actually hold together I mean are they just there for the rail for future installment or are they actually doing something

Just got mines. Went to install and there’s a bunch of felt lining and screws holding it up to the frame right where the rails are supposed to go! I got a 2020 eco-boost. Had to take out the screws as they were interfering.

Super helpful video, question though. Are the bolts on the bottom of the car reverse thread, or is the installation video backwards?

The video is flipped left to right. The Craftsman logos on the guys toolbox are a clue. The threads are NOT LH turn. Also, one of the rails is longer than the other and the video doesn’t say which goes on the left and right side.
