Installing Steeda Jacking Rails, IRS Subframe Support and G-Trac Brace

It's time to get the car stiff and stable, but first - the most important mod you can do to a Mustang: jacking rails. To help stiffen the chassis, we're installing Steeda's IRS Subframe Support along with their G-Trac Brace. This should help the big ole 'Stang put those pure bred American ponies to the ground while keeping it planted and far away from crowds.

What's weird is Ford started the IRS in 1999 on just the cobra thru 2004. The Gts had solid rear axle. Then they started IRS again in 2015 with all of the mustangs.

From my knowledge they went back to irs to make the car feel more sporty and handle better and I think they accomplished that tbh. The s550 is a great chassis

IRS were on the Falcons built out of Australia which I believe they used this as a base for the S550 mustangs

I installed all the pieces you did plus the dog bones. They actually work too well the rear tires just spin , had to get better tires !

When you've never heard the term "IRS" before. Just remember all Mustang's are 10MM and 15MM for everything. If this was say your Porsche, the entire car would have to come apart.

Don't know if Steeda's Mustang line is better, but the way their other stuff rusts makes me think Steeda developed the only rattle can "powder-coat".

Are you able to get your hands on nV purge, nova jet and lustre? It’s an Australian brand that most of us here have been using. They pile money into r&d rather then marketing compared to a lot of other company’s, as such their products are insanely good, but their name isn’t international yet. One use of nV lustre , and you’d be replacing bead maker. Has won gloss and slickness competitions over here against all the most used last step products - I.e.carpro, meguiars, angel wax, optimum, p&s P.s I don’t work for them or have anything to gain here other then improving the OG process.
