I just installed this in my 2018 GT....I'm am glad to report that I didn't break anything! Also, the silver plate doesn't separate from actual shifter on the 2018...I also needed to turn the car on to move the lever back, turned it back off in gear with the E brake engaged... Thanks for this video, it helped a great deal!

Like others the button sticks or won't release but I hope it wears in after some use, I did find that when you put it in park to slightly pull the shifter to the left or give it a tap to the left and the lock out button will release and hold the shifter in park. When starting the car and shifting into reverse, neutral, drive or sport you may have to slightly push the lever to the right for it to release the lock out button. You really can't install this wrong as it only sits on top of a plastic rod that the lock out button assembly pushes down to release the lock out. The two screws only line up one way so there is not miss-adjustment of the shifter handle. The handle itself looks good, much better than the factory shifter handle. I just wish the button worked better out of the box for the price they are charging.

Love this, nice and simple installation as well. So far this is my #1 candidate for my A/M shift knob when I get my Mustang. Also, it's time to update the title to say 2015-2020! Haha

Wondering if this is possible because I would REALLY like to do this with my 2014 with select shift...

@@dom3489 just checked his website and he doesn't support the MT82 transmission in my car... :( All I want is a shifter exactly like this, and to get them paddle shifters on mah wheel! Not looking for a drag setup, just something less ugly than the stock shifter.

So I installed an Aftermarket Shift Knob on my 2015 EcoBoost and for some reason it moves freely weather or not my foot is on the brake off the brake. I just need to know how to fix this if I can because the idea that I can shift it back into Reverse while doing 65 on the Highway does not sound fun.
