2015 Alfa Romeo 4C review...7 years later

I own an Elise and and an Evora. I’ve become more interested in the 4C since prices aren’t unreasonable. Have you compared and contrasted this thing with a lotus ?

I was in love with my Giulia and Alfa Romeo as a brand, however, I will never again buy/recommend another Alfa Romeo in my life. I had the brake by wire system fail on me and it caused me to crash and total the car. They sent someone from Bosch to diagnose the vehicle and in the charts it clearly showed that something malfunctioned (brakes were slammed 2 seconds before the impact at 40 MPH and it took more than 1.5 seconds for the speed to start going down.) Stellantis told me that they were not going to take responsibility for it and that I needed to have my insurance pay for the vehicle. Absolute garbage. I will never recommend this car brand to anyone again! Buy an AUDI, BMW, Mercedes or literally anything else instead!!!

I’ve seen this comment somewhere else, not sure if it’s fake or not, Alfa has never known to be good in terms of support. But Alfa isn’t the only European car company to have a bad attitude when it comes to warranty. Had a bad experience with my Mk7 Golf’s transmission. VW dealer said, “no it’s fine”.

Dear friend, I agree with everything you said about old alfas , even if I loved those as well. !! But these new alfas are not the the same as old alfas!! If you take care of them, they are even reliable.!!!!!! But remember, 4c is not for everybody nor for every day car. This is a race car that you can have as a grownups toy and as your third or fourth car.
