just got my self a red S3 with all the bells and whistles, your vidoes made a huge impact in my choice. My family has a house in vermont we go to often and you made me feel sure it could take on the snow with some tires

MajesticSeaLion1 Hey that's great! The S3 is amazing with snow tires, I never even came close to getting it stuck anywhere and barely encountered wheel spin unless I tried to get them to spin on purpose.

Great video! I like how you show activation of which switch or button does to the screen image. Many people weren't doing that in their tutorials, which made it a bit confusing. I wish though on some of the scenes where you show activating a switch and the corresponding screen shot you stayed a bit longer on the screen to show what was on it. A few times you were too quick and I couldn't see what was on the screen... Do you do one for 2016 and newer cars like the TTS?

Does your S3 have Android Auto? I've seen videos with Android Auto working in Audi's but I believe it's been the Q7 model.

Thanks for your videos, always helpful. Just wondering if your Audi Connect and wifi hotspot still work? Mine doesn't and I've heard they don't support the older ones (2015 8V).

David B Thanks, I never added the subscription for that and haven’t tried since. I believe you can still get the subscription for it, at least in the US.

3:50 it's not at all weird if you look at what you're seeing in the display: it's a circle. Just imagine you're turning this circle with your controller, don't think about "up" or "down". Same applies to lists: you have the circle (or part of it) on the left side. Think of it as turning it and you'll see that turning it clockwise would, the list would go up and vice versa.

Hey mercmilan06 ....Love your videos. I ended up getting a Lotus Gray A3, all but 2 options. I was looking online about the programming of the curbside mirror, I've done it a dozen times, but it isn't working for me. Have you tried this at all? Just curious...Thanks

Are you sitting in an S3 or A3 while recording this video? I am guessing S3. Because I have a 2015 A3 & when I press "menu" & go to "car" option, I can't get a submenu from the "car" option by pressing the appropriate button. I am trying to pair up my garage door opener with my Audi A3 & have been having a heck of a time because I can't get to the garage door opener option from the MMI touch.

Sean Keogh It should be one of the options if you press the menu (looks like a list with bullets) button on the steering wheel when in the red driver info section in the central display between the tech and speedo.

zroscigno Not after the S3. The Fusion was a nice car but the S3 is so much much more fun to drive and is so heavily equipped with tons of great features I'd hate to go back to the Fusion now.

Yes, it will lower the music volume when the voice prompts are read out loud (a feature that can easily be disabled).

I just rented this car, but when I selected Navigation, the screen says: please insert navigation data medium. I do not know what it is and how to insert it. I pushed all the buttoned you mentioned, nothing changed or moved. Please help!

***** You probably have a car without nav, I'm guessing the four buttons around the main MMI control wheel are black and the screen will also be smaller. If so, it doesn't have nav. If not, then I'm afraid I'm not sure.

+mercmilan06 near the SIM card is an SD card containing map data. I bet this is missing in a rental because either someone stole it or they just didn't bother as it is a rental.

Ah. German cars don't have touchscreens? Then why does our 2007 Volkswagen Tiguan have a touchscreen? There is an option for Audis called MMI touch. By the way, hello from the country where those cars are made (Germany, the country without touchscreens)

Finn Bloecker I mis-spoke and was referring to German luxury cars because at the time of the video Audi, BMW, and Mercedes all had rotary knobs and no touch screens.
