this worked great on my wife's 2015 escalade. 1 thing when removing the 2 T11 screws on the Glovebox do it before you open to remove the other 4.

Was it as easy to install as it looks? Pretty sure my HMI module has gone bad in my 2015 Escalade. Makes more sense if I'm going to spend the money to fix it to upgrade while I'm at it. Dealership wants over $1700 just to fix the module 🤬

I noticed that the buttons on the entertainment module looked like they were flashing after installation. Does that go away or is that an ongoing issue

Hello the Led lights flicker in the camera due to the stroboscopic effect. So the LED light isn't keeping up with the camera frame rate (FPS). The lights on the module do not flash when installed.

I have a 2015 Escalade. Started it up today and screen was black. Backup camera still seems to work just fine. After some research, I'm guessing it's the HMI module that's gone bad. Dealership is quoting me $1675 plus tax to fix. Looks like your kit is much cheaper and better since it's an upgrade. Any reason why this would not work with my vehicle? Anyone actually done this themselves? Is it as easy as it looks?

Most GM vehicles will have Apple Carplay and Android Auto equipped after 2016.
