After I got my oil changed at Sears I realized that they hadn't reset the oil life. I went back and discovered that the mechanic didn't know how. While I waited I pulled up this video and ended up showing him how. Thanks for the info!

Hey BigT, if you have the 5.3L engine, I hope that mechanic knows that engine takes 8.5 quarts of oil. Better pull that dipstick just to check!

No, you dork! You can just start from the oil reset button you have to show how to get to the oil reset button because I’m still trying to figure it out! Good grief
