Dont forget to replace that bushing with a new one. The one from the factory are notorious for wearing out quickly.

I made that mistake. I'm about to take it all apart to replace the bushing now. The bushing is going bad on both sides.

Most say drain and refill every 30k miles, since a drain and refill only gets half the fluid out.

Harbor Freight. It's just a simple seal puller.

Does the seal need changed every time CV Joint is replaced? I replaced passenger side CV on 2014 Fusion SE 2.0 FWD, and now Im leaking fluid right after test drive from the socket that accepts CV Joint into Transmission. Is it possible some just leaked into that area when I had the old one out, I didnt drain transmission fluid when I did the changeout. I'm hoping I dont have to pull it all apart and replace the seal, but I will if I have to! Any advice would be appreciated.

You do NOT have to change the seal when the axle is removed and replaced. I can only speculate why yours is leaking. I do have a video of the right side axle removal and replacement where I did not change the seal. Check it out.

Are you drained the transmission fluid?

Yes about 28 seconds in I show that. Clean fluid can be reused.
