STOP STOP STOP...None of this is necessary!!! Both bulbs can be reached from inside hood. Pass. easy grab. drivers...remove airbox 5mins. DO NOT PULL OFF BUMPER!!!!

Yes, easy access, maybe not for huge armed people but I'm 240 and it wasn't a problem. Just reach in, pull off the rubber boot, rotate and remove bulb unit and replace.

Followed your video step by step on my 2011 Taurus. You're correct about checking the bulbs after installing the new headlight assembly. My drivers side headlamp bulb was blown and I was actually able to get past the air cleaner housing ot replace the bulb. Did it pretty much by touch. Well done video!!!

Maybe he didn't have to remove the bumper assembly the do the headlight bulbs. Personally, I'm glad he did, for two reasons... To replace the parking light, the 194, it's highly recommended. That is unless you have arms and fingers like a ten year old. The cavity to stick your hand in from underneath the fender liner is pretty tight. The second reason is, that it's good to have someone show us shade tree mechanics, the procedure to replace certain parts, start to finish. I can't speak for everyone, but I learned to remove the front bumper fascia, to replace the headlamp housing, the headlamps, the turn signal bulb, the parking lights, and even the horns 33:57 if that's ever needed. They did a great, thorough job, and posted to KZbin just for me, I guess. Just my take on it.

Thanks for the great video. I know you don't have to do all this guys but at least he shows everything needed in case someone needs to replace the entire headlight assembly. I for one need to remove one side because the factory bulb is stuck in the housing because I put it in wrong by accident at night in the freezing cold trying to install led headlight bulbs. One thing I will say is that my car uses a 9005 bulb where all others use a 9012. That's odd that all catalogs say use 9012 but mine has 9005 and I bought the car new and the dealer verified it uses 9005 according to the vin number.

Changed my headlights by just reaching in like normal and changing. Park lights were a little tougher but i was able to do those by turning tire inwards and going through fender wells but its still a tight spot but can be done without removing bumper or anything shown in this video

2014 Taurus, amber side bulbs needs to do that work? I try removing the underneath fender in passenger side but i cant reach the bulb. Any other idea?

To get to the side marker lamps, you will have to remove the bumper assembly. The blinker lamps, just remove air box to reach the assembly.

You can change all bulbs in about 10 minutes. No need to do all that extra work

Removing the air box takes the most time everything else is easy. Plug and play.

You possibly could take the air box out. and you can change it with out taking anything apart you just tear you hands apart and will say a few choice words while struggling thro, all the while hoping you don’t mess up the new bulbs lol, taking the bumper off honestly was actually really simple.

Nothing needs to be removed to change headlights except the air filter box for the driver side nothing needs to be removed to change the passenger side bulb

🤣🤣🤣 you’re taking half the car apart unnecessarily. You can literally reach your hand in and change it. At most the air box on DS has to come off - two bolts. I wanna see a video of you changing a tire 😂😂
