I just traded my 2010 Taurus that I bought new for a 2018. These are great comfortable cars to take on a road trip. I had ZERO problems with mine so I bought another one while they are still making them. That button to open the trunk isn't a big deal. The interior styling always reminded me of the old Thunderbirds

I just bought a 2015 SEL. Mine came with leather and the 20s. Pretty decent car. The trunk space is massive, but I would give that up for more backseat legroom and a full size spare tire instead of a donut.

11/18/18, Conway Ford, if you're still there I have a question for you on my 2015 Taurus LTD. 2 of the doors take on water in a rainstorm, I've never seen this before. When I bend back that bottom rubber, lots of water drains out, I'm trying to figure how it's getting in. My concern is something could short. There's no damage, still like new. I had one of these.. except it was a 2012. Look badass with tinted windows and this color! I miss it :( I got it used (in 2012, it was a ex-rental) with 17k miles and I put 20k miles on it in a little over a year, rack and pinion was very close to being shot (I know this because it was wrecked, and when they fixed it they did an alignment and told me this- which I already knew something was up) when it got repoed. I don't know if it just happened (seems really low mileage for R+P to go), or if sears messed it up somehow when they 'aligned' it when I got new tires at about 22k miles.. I never had a problem with places to put my phone, although I usually keep it in my pocket, no reason to have it out for me. If I did happen to have it out though, I would just toss it into the cupholder sideways because I almost never had a drink in there.

9/22/18, No they aren't, ride behind anything shiny & you'll see they're not on. You may see another Taurus from outside & you'll notice those lamps are off. What you might see on occasion is a Canadian car w/DRL integrated into the headlamps. Those are setup for the Canada market where DRL is mandatory.

At the time I was upgrading my production to 4K. It cost about $10k by the time I was finished. I also travel about 30k miles a year. Expenses add up... not to mention time.

My mom has an 04 taurus se, this color, gray interior, and it has about 118,000 miles, its cost her a jov, cant get more than a $500 offer on a trade in, and began to corrode at five years old, despite being taken care of, and the passenger front power window motor wont work, and the door panels all snap out, the accent plastic does, anyways, we take care of it, but it just craps out...

+Ron Bennett Outdoors we brought it on a road trip from Massachusetts to Alabama when it was brand new. got to Maryland, the engine light came on. that was a glitch. my dad has the 03. fund great. but now my mom has my stepdads old 05 Dodge ram, which also has some problems, but it was first a nice truck, then a work truck, and now the family vehicle. it needs 4wd fixed tho.

10/23/24, I💙💛my 2015 Taurus LTD AWD; purchased new (cash); being retired I've only got 47K miles❕ Just got new tires (Bridgestone) as the originals (GDYR), although still had good tread🔸🔸🔸dry rotted. New brakes, wipers, oil. Those lamps on the lower front are virtually useless🔹🔹🔹they're NOT DRL❕I don't know what they're for. They come on when you open the doors.💤💤💤💤💤💤I added a trailer hitch.🪝🪝🪝

3/14/17, I have a 2015 Taurus LTD/AWD; those lamps on the front bumper aren't DRLs, I don't know what they are. They only come on when you open the doors, totally useless.

No they are not , its accent lighting it comes on also when your headlights are turned on , or your park lights are on it gives the car a classy look I love my 2014 Taurus SEL

9/22/18, Those lamps are still useless nonetheless. I did, however, add a trailer hitch. I ordered a full-size spare ($1100), when I rotate wheels I switch the spare around w/all 5 since it's AWD. After 3.5 yrs the original battery finally went. Par4the course. Was home, car in the driveway, I get in, going to ShopRite---click-cliiick! They give you no warning, they just go. 3yrs is about right, beyond that you're pressing it. Couldn't have picked a better place to peat out. Got AAA to bring me a battery; original was 650 amp, new 1 is 750. Great.

The one showing is the basic sync 1 with the 4 inch screen . You must have the optional My Ford Touch system with the 8 inch Touchscreen.

Ford made a great car, but the engineers forgot there are red colors too.. Blue and white are not the only colors.... Put some 🔴 red color so I wouldn't sleep while driving..
