To those of you saying how slow this car is. The car isn't listed as running the quarter mile with drag slicks at 10.8s by chrysler its by the NHRA. A professional organization...Not the company selling the vehicle

Because in the HP was just pushing the car. Now its pushing the car which is heavier due to safety standards as well as bumper to bumper computers and sensors and all the other creature comforts that raw original muscle cars didn't have

Everyone thinks their fast until they come to Bandimere and get disappointed. :).. You gotta build and tune to a whole other level for 11s and 10s when you are a mile high.

Altitude accounts for a couple 10ths not a couple seconds. To all you who ask about why a 500hp car runs 11's and the 707hp Hellcat runs a 12.1.....its called physics! Power to Weight ratio is all that matters to the time clock. The Hellcat running a 12.1 is very realistic for the showroom floor model. We had 2 Hellcats out last Friday night, 1 Auto, 1 Std Trans. The quickest either of them ran was 12.41 and 'Yes' they hooked up. I think Dodge did a great job in getting these times out of a 4500 lb car, lets be honest. We can all go on about who is fastest and which Manufacturer is best but in the end if we want faster times we have to increase hp or reduce weight or both. Get the Hellcat power to the ground in a vipor and you should be real happy with the results
