so this kn ram air intake isn't legal on regular 1.8l civics from 2015 onward correct? i saw on the website that its carb exempt from 2012 to 2014 in California but im not risking it since i live in California so i got a kn air filter insert works great notice more pep in my engine and improved acceleration and mid range torque.

Can you do this on a regular 15 honda civic ex? Like not the SI one or is it on recommended for the SI models

I’m not 100% sure if this air filter kit will fit the non-SI models, but you can mount an aftermarket air intake system.
