I could see doing this the other way around. Modify a 9012 bulb to fit in a 9006 housing. The 9012 bulb is a newer standard with better tech.

I have a 2013 Hyundai Veloster base model. It's a GDI engine which is known I guess for carbon build up. That's a ticking in the engine when I accelerate. Sounds like glass bottles rattling kinda. It could be due to the carbon buildup. So I'll try this.

Dude I think this is happening to me. I thought something severe happened even though I took a 2 hour trip and it was fine until it started coming home only on passenger front side took off the hub cap and after really didn’t make noise anymore
