One fellow questions if there is a tire with the car? Does the European model not come with a spare tire? Under the lift-up tray under the back floor area is a complete tire on the North American models?

What is up with reviewers complaining about 5th person room. How many compact, midsize sedans or suvs do you know fit 5 reg adults??? You are reviewing a compact segement car and its 5th person seat is not for your 6'7" friend... Same goes for all the other complaints they have about these smaller cars. Yes they have limited room and no they don't have a V6 turbo. Not sure what people expect. I have tried the HR-V and it has lots of room for me and my family and hoards of storage space. It is the perfect vehicle for us and the price is awesome as well. Cheers from Canada

i like it. it shows you dont need a big Volvo XC90 which eats up road space. It does the same job for a lot less money.

Mini SUV's/crossovers are pointless. Drives almost just as bad as a regular Compact SUV (compared to sedans), its not tall enough to get that "commanding view" of the traffic, interior space is not much more than a sedan or a hatchback, its still a city car, not really capable of off-roading. It's like saying, I was too cheap to fork out an extra 10%-15% to get a proper compact size suv. I guess, its good for people who live in cities with very tight parking spots and still want a little more height compared to sedans.

I agree but I do like the styling and it will sell points is its safety and reliability

Jojo Daley I like the styling of this car too, but I'm talking in general, segment wise, just for a little bit more cash you can get a Mazda CX-5 looks just as good, or if you really want space and height, its bigger brother the CRV.

enemay "I guess, its good for people who live in cities with very tight parking spots and still want a little more height compared to sedans." You pointed out the very reason for their existence in a comment meant to disparage them. They are small city cars, with all the advantages of that and only a minor cost in fuel, plus the benefit of option AWD (depending what market your in) and a easier entry/exit level due to the ride height. That, right there, is more than enough to reason their existence even if I'd never buy one.

Ride height is the thing people are looking for. It wont suck up bumpy road that much but you dont need to worry about your skirts scraping anymore and a bit higher driving position is a plus too. Being sub compact SUV means lower maintenance, tires alone are 20% cheaper than CRV.

It ought to be cheaper. The workers in the Mexican factory where it is produced are only making about £1.50 an hour.

+Desperate4Attention thats actually a big income. Dont compare u.k from mexico, different economic standing. Them making that money already considered a middle class family.

Desperate4Attention its not about the thinking you dumb nut. some of those people must be working 10 times as hard as you. its about the means, the economic standing of the nation. everyone was from the bottom before they went to the top.any successful person, company, family all started from the bottom. we all started from the bottom and eventually progress. even if they have the most hardworking people and a mindset to be a millionaire who doesnt want to be a millionaire. they would always get the shortest end of the stick since they dont have the means to provide the salary of a typical american.

Okay don't freak out, some just told me that honda has just realise some kind of super vehicle called the honda fit. Its a small car with a big personality that can handle anything life throws at you. Why am I sitting here talking about it, I have to find a honda dealer, youtube is cancelled.

"most anticipated new car of 2015"? Sorry, but that may be a reflection of the lack of imagination in What Car readers! In a year that sees the MX5, Focus RS, Civic Type R, NSX, Ford Mustang, Jaguar XE, Alfa Giulia, 4C Spider, BMW M2, Ferrari 488GTB, Fiat 124 Spider and the 911GT3 RS, the Hormone Replacement Vehicle doesn't even feature on my list!
