I'm a mom of 5 and torn between a 2015 Highlander and a 2015 Pilot, this was very helpful!! I've watched 2 of your videos so far, and I love your videos - they are so detailed and informative! Sometimes the accent was a tad difficult to understand, but my dad (who has a heavy caribbean accent), once said to focus on the words, not the accent lol, and so I did. Great videos, love that you include your wife's point of view as well.

I was going to buy one of these but opted for Acura's version, the MDX. It's a great car but I often wish I'd purchased the Pilot as I prefer the more utilitarian look. It reminds me of a larger version of the Honda Element, which I drove for several years.

@@AtomicCarReview Funny thing is the Acura has lots more luxury and features but the same year Pilot with similar mileage is worth more! So it doesn't make sense for me to sell my MDX and buy a Pilot, unfortunately!.

The Mighty Cass, for exactly the same reason we bought 2008 Acura MDX compared to same year Pilot. Pilot could be more convenient for our big family, but for the same price we chose more powerful, safe, and advance MDX.

Are u sure this is a 2015 pilot. I have a 2015 pilot and it has one big rectangle to display car info on. Yours seems to have the older split rectangle under the speedometer.

I want to buy a Pilot 2015 with 70,000 Km. I just want to know your opinion, it would be reliable for the next 2/3 years in terms of maintenance?

That's a used car and everything could happen. But in general, Honda Pilot is one of the most reliable SUVs on the market. If the car is fine, you have around 125,000 km of normal life. But at 160,000 km you will need to replace timing belt and spark plugs. Around 200,000 km - possibly front lover control arms. Thank you!

Only reason i wouldnt buy a Honda Pilot is the location of the shifter. Might sound picky but it's a terrible location. Why can't they put it in the traditional location between the seats forward. And I'm just accustomed to resting my hand on the shifter while i drive. But It's fairly typical of Asian cars have either bad location or shifters that are tiny. Good video.
