Auburn fans and staff are flirting dangerously with being branded the "whiner" U. Their announcers especially just whine, with no regard to facts or rules of the game. They did it loudly and often in the span of nine straight victories by the Tide, and with Alabama having taken four of the last five, it's starting again.

Again, you don't know fact from fiction. It's a fact that the Alabama program was decimated by the scholarship reductions. That was the goal of the NCAA. A bunch of scholarship players should be able to beat some high school caliber guys regularly. Alabama fans were simply pointing out FACT. Auburn fans rant and yell about calls that are anything but fact. The Auburn announcers, after a penalty went against Auburn, "dared" listeners to challenge that Auburn had been penalized more in the series than Alabama. Too easy. A simple review of the games shows that Alabama has been penalized more than Auburn, but that didn't stop Auburn announcers from continuing to whine that Auburn has been penalized more. That's the difference between whining and making an observation about a roster reduction. Congratulations! AU is officially Whiner U.

Bama has won 7 out of 10 since the 6 in a row came to a screeching halt. Those were coach Tuberville's own words, as a matter of fact. That was the 2008 Iron Bowl where Bama crushed auburn 36-0 and the school responded by terminating the man.
