Does it just plug in easily or does it require some modification? Im just curious because ive seen people take Chrysler screens and plug them into chargers so i was wondering if it was the same for jeeps.

I found out the hard way that if by chance you ever leave your sunroof open by mistake (even partially) and it rains, you will be paying hundreds of dollars for a new push-button center console. Even after wiping the rain water from the surface will not help. Water will have seeped in around the pushbuttons and short-circuited the works.

Awesome SUV my man, I have the black on black regular Altitude but I wish I had this package...everything that I want that you can’t get with the Altitude...SRT LEDs, Summit bumper and that V8 🤤

I saw that but they do still give you the 5.7 V8 option? I thought i only saw the V6 available which would suck lol.

Haha yes they do offer the 5.7 on the 2018 High Altitude. I believe it’s a $3,000 option still. I’m assuming FCA is keeping the upgrade price high to keep the amount of 3.6 Pentastars on the road high. Those CAFE standards are a bugger!

You should get 2016 high Altitude. Not a lot of difference between the 2018.

@@MilGrip76 I bought this exact model with the 3.6 last Wednesday at my local jeep dealer. Only 50k miles one owner and very well taken care of. Drove it for two days and started leaking oil. It’s been at the dealership for 5 days already and they’re still waiting for the oil filter housing to come in. I’m aware that’s a common problem but man I can’t wait to get it back. It drives amazing very comfortable and the trans shifts really smoothly.

From what I'm told. There's only 5 of these in the US. That's specific to this year. Trim package (high altitude) with the 5.7. Not sure how true it is tho

The material is quite thick and really did a great job at protecting the area, I really like the flap that flips down to cover the plastics while you’re loading and unloading.

Nevin, I've actually sold this Grand Cherokee since the video was taken. I sold it with 68,000 miles and the only issue that we had was with the water pump failing. It didn't leave us stranded or anything, but it was "weeping" coolant and therefore had to be replaced. This was 100% covered under the 100,000 miles power train warranty. Also, it's worth noting that this is something that commonly fails on these 5.7 V8's. We owned a 2011 Grand Cherokee (same body style) with the same engine and we had two fail on that one as well. The first one failed at 70,000 miles and the second at 130,000 miles. It's a fairly straight forward replacement, but it is a weak point. Outside of that, both the 2011 and 2015 have been very reliable for us. The transmission, air suspension, electronics etc, have all worked flawlessly. I hope this helps! Regards, hazards280

I use a Tekonsha Prodigy P3 with the optional adapter for the Grand Cherokee. It's a plug and play deal and takes about 5 minutes to install.

The hood has twin gas struts to support it. So no, you don't need the metal rod.
