Oumar DiAlLo Mercedes cabs are mostly in Germany, and they are E and S classes, not A or GLA classes

Albert Arrabal where I'm from in the Netherlands, Mercedes are taxi cabs also, likewise in Belgium. And I wasn't making a reference directly to the a class but to the brand in general, meaning that its bones aren't rooted in luxury.

Oumar DiAlLo well im from Europe and futuristic looking is not the thing for me. costumers for this lexus would be teenagers or older guys with baseball hats lol stuck somewhere in teen ages forever :P so i chose GLA 250 . European and American costumers are two different things

Lexus is not considered a near luxury vehicle it is a luxury vehicle. Also, the screws look more for design than anything due to them being metal instead of cheap plastic ones.

Toyota4Life all of the components in the lexus are cheep plastics, it handles nothing like the mercedes. I personally hate mercedes but in now way should the lexus take this

The GLA is class down from the NX in size and power. They probably threw it in here because they just haven't tested it. The GLK is the NX competition from Mercedes. Should be redone next year.

The Mercedes-Benz GLA Class is a direct competitor (CUV) of the Subaru XV Crosstrek, Jeep Renegade, Mazda CX-3, Honda HR-V Crossover, BMW X1 and the like. While the Lexus NX200t's direct competitors (SUV) are the Subaru Forester, Land Rover Discover, BMW X3, Audi Q5, Lincoln MKC and the like. Hopefully AutoGuide.com you could compare vehicles in their right class, 'cause this review ain't did that much.

There is no use for the Lexus NX's infotainment system if you can't even use the touch pad to control it... Reminds me of a really old, crappy windows laptop from 2003. I almost got a paper cut from the NX which really competes with the GLK. If you want a mercedes, you have to pay the premium for a mercedes. The GLK is a way better vehicle than the Rav-4 NX anyways. Lexus should just stick to making mercedes knockoffs like they did in the 90s. Sorry, but for me... The classy and understated GLA wins.

The lexus fits the american market much better simpler styling that will look nice on the road and offer enough space for the family the MB on the other hand fits more with those mid 20's early 30's hipsters looking to be inovative the MB is also lighter meaning less gas is used hense 30 mpg vs 25mpg i would personally choose the GLA the NX is a RAV4 with a new body and leather interior lol

A 2007 Mazda CX-7 has comparable power, better handling/turning circle, shorter braking distances and better cargo capacity than the Lexus NX. As for the GLA, less cargo and maneuverability than your typical hatchback. The GLA AMG does offer an engine upgrade to 355 hp. Even the Lincoln MKC offers an upgrade to a 285 hp engine. Lexus should do the same instead of the hybrid powertrain. Luxury brands need to offer much more than just gussied up interiors and looks in order to justify the much higher prices. Also, luxury cars should all come with leather standard, not vinyl.

GLA is really stylish. Silhouette is strange but charismatic and elegancy in every detail makes it refined. NX instead is overdesigned, it looks great and striking but only in the distance of 20 meters, because in details it is kitschy, looks like they just created a catalogue of ideas and merged them all together. The same goes for the interior. Steering of NX makes the bad impression of Lexus, no sensitivity and confusing simulation of counter-torque. GLA is to much compact, boot space is not always enough. Maybe for the same money you get more car with a Lexus but for sure you get better car with Mercedes - my choice.

I drove and sat and both, the GLA interior is more refined and feels like luxury, unfortunately the NX center console is plain just like the CT200 I cant stand it, I ended up getting the GLA with the Panoramic Roof, White Interior and Harmon Kardon 7 speaker with SUB system, I Love it.

These are both fugly cars. I'm a huge fan of the Germans, but I would take the Lexus here. The Mercedes is uglier (imo), less power and blander/less ergonomic.
