The difference in the quality of mics is crazy. The one you're using when you sat in the back sounded 10x better than the one that was picking you up while you were the one driving. Not to say that when I had only heard the one being used while you drove I thought it was bad quality, it was only after the comparison was made that it really stood out. Anyway, awesome review as always.

Best interior in the business right now. It's way better than a Bentley and Possibly on Par with a Rolls Royce (although the S600 Maybach would be better) well done merc, absolutely beautiful

+enrique perez actually the new faceliftet c63 amg came out few weeks ago and it looks awesome. But idk if you need this when you have the new Mustant gt,which is btw my dream car and a viper. Just go on the mercedes site and look for it i love the design.

+Faraonqa Funny but I doubt it those LEDs will probably outlast the vehicle. It's common for LEDs to be rated 200,000 hours or over 20 years. We also have a C63 6 years old similar LEDs though not as many..all still work. The other maintenance bits you WILL need to do are guaranteed expensive though.

If I had the money to afford an S-Class in general, would totally skip this model and the S63 and head straight for the S65 AMG. V12 twin turbo, 621hp, 738lb-ft, 0-100km/h 4.2 seconds. I don't need to say anything else other than this, AMG = An enthusiastic S-Class.

everybody is hating saying that the car is so complex that it won't be reliable. But if Mercedes had made a simple car so it could be reliable they would hate and say it's too simple for the money. Haters gonna hate. Reliability really doesn't even matter because rich people who buy them new will get rid of them in a few years anyways before the warranty ends.

2 things. A. Can I ask how big that V8 is in the S550, cuz in the UK the S500 has a 4.7 V8 is it any different in the US? B. I would really consider the Audi S8 instead of a Merc, the Quattro 4WD system is fairly unbeatable and combined with epic performance with an efficient, yet powerful 4.0 V8 and excellent luxury

My close friend has it and while it's really a big leap from previous S class the seats are squeaking after a year of usage (first rear then front). Sometimes because of all those systems something like parking sensors doesn't turn on for no reason.
