@skipjagger2 жыл бұрын
Ha!!! Awesome!!! Glad I helped someone out!! Hahahah did you find any lint or something inside the fan? That's what made ours vibrate initially, We had some body work done on the car after an accident, and they must have accidentally got the packaging for one of the small parts stuck in the vent somehow. the blower motor sucked it up and bent something in there. Even though I removed the plastic bag, it still vibrated afterwards.

Thanks , my daughter just pulled it apart (piece of some kind of foam in the fan) and put it back together. 15 min and all is Good. Thank you.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO. My AC has been loud as shit for so long and I had no idea how to get to the blower motor in my 2013 sentra. This helped me with the project and finally remove the stupid freaking piece of rubber that lodged itself in my motor. Serious, freaking THANK YOU.

Hahahaha! Thats awesome! I'm glad it helped someone! You are 100% welcome! Quick question, do you have a CVT in yours? Ours is starting to act strange under medium acceleration on the highway, like up a hill. Do you see anything like that?

@scriptohmy78345 жыл бұрын
@@skipjagger lol, thank you. it was a windy day :] Mine does have a CVT, but I haven't noticed any serious or consistent issues with accelerating. Sometimes around the 1-10mph range it can be a little janky, but otherwise mine is as smooth as the day I bought it in 2013.
@andrewkopanski13304 жыл бұрын
Our Sentra has 76k miles and the CVT is just starting to go. It's slipping under moderate acceleration and doesn't have much time left. The blower motor is in its way out too, and it's great to see it's an easy job unlike the Volvo's I've had in the past, but we'll be trading it in soon due to the transmission problem. It appears they all do this. Shame on Nissan for not extending the warranty on the newer models like they were forced to for the older ones.
@skipjagger4 жыл бұрын
@@andrewkopanski1330 I am worried about ours, it got 60k on it and it's just not right, it has gotten ?better? But still hunts under mild steady acceleration, $8,000 for a replacement tranny..... Doesn't really give me the warm fuzzies

Very nice explanation. Blessings

On a 2015 Versa it's the same, but you can only access from drivers side! It's as tho Nissan had som right hand drive parts left over, and used them! It's a pain to get to, as one must drop steering wheel and coupling to access the fan!!!

Where is the blower motor resistor located on a 2005 Nissan sentra I the glove compartment as well?
@mellenjack558 жыл бұрын
Does a 2016 Sentra the same set up? I`ve read at other sites you may have to remove the dash assembly on those.
@missioncodez2 жыл бұрын
This looks like a much better placement for the blower motor than was in the 2008-2013 models, where it was in the center dash, but more vertical, and in such a position that the "easiest" way of getting to it involved removing your pedals, for starters. Nissan would rather you remove the dash itself to gain access. This is MUCH better. Especially considering that blower motors go out all the time.

Yes...I was so surprised to find how easy it was!!! My last car was similar to your story, ripped half the dash out to replace it

Thanks, George for the video. I have the same model. Do you know where is the resistor for the blower? my fan is nonstop spinning on high rpm and it won't turn off. I googled and it seems the resistor part needs to replace. I opened the glove box and couldn't find the resistor spot.
@skipjagger5 жыл бұрын
I wasn't looking for that resister pack when I was in there while making that video. I poked around the internet a little and did find a couple forum posts that say it is directly behind the glove box. That is good news since the glove box is easy to remove. I can't post any links here through this ap, but if you Google an image of the part, you should be able to see the connector end wiring poking out somewhere in there. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful!
@RezaSadeghimusic5 жыл бұрын
@@skipjagger Thank you so much for your reply. I already found the location of the resistor. unfortunately, the location of the resistor in the Sentra 2015 model is not under the glove box. It is under the front duct and installed on the heater duct of the driver side..really odd place. I ended up to open the odometer and the front console to get tiny access to the resistor.

What happens is li'l critters like mice decide this'd be a good place to make a nest. Then they start hauling anything that could keep them warm into the blower and set up house. The next time you move the car, they scare away and leave their baggage. Happened to me twice, found peanuts and pink house insulation in one blower. Found grey house insulation in the other blower, and the li'l critter built a 2nd nest right on top of the engine.

That's strange??? You figure if the brushes in the motor were worn out, it would just not run unless you gave it a little tap. Did you end up pulling the fan motor out? Curious to see if it was stiff and didn't spin freely or something???
