Welcome to the Nitto Tire JK Experience Middle America presented by Discount Tire. Northridge 4x4 is once again proud to be a sponsor of this great event and happy to have our camera crew at all three events this season.
The JK Experience Middle America brought us to Texas over Memorial Day this year and as always Mel and his crew had plenty of surprises in store for us. Our destination for the start was Marble Falls, Texas which is located just North of Austin. With all the sponsors and participates stickered up and read to wheel Mel led us to Hidden Falls OHV park for ages at first day of wheeling. The ledges were tall and the weather allowed for plenty of mud to challenge everyone's vehicle as well as their skillet as a driver and a co-driver. Day 2 started with some road miles and a tour of south west Texas until we reached K2 or Katemcy Rocks. We aired down and headed out to explore slick rock Texas style. With the weather giving us a run for our money we had a great day on the boulders and challenging trails. Once had our fill we headed into town for some down home Texas style BBQ. Day 3 offered us some more challenging big weather so we opted to head back to K2 for another day on the slick rock and some of the more challenging runs and needless to say it K2 gave us all we wanted and a bit more. Mel and the crew treated us to an authentic Tex Mex meal and then we were off to Fredricksburg for a treat at the Hanger Hotel on the airstrip. Once all were checked in and photo op's we down the group headed to Luckenbach Texas for some live music and a tour of the historical town. We ended the trip with a great evening at the Hanger lounge where we exchanged stories and memories from the trip.

First let me say, its great to see JKX videos again, the quality of the video was nice and the tribute to Officer Bennett was a nice touch. With all that said, its not the same anymore....I miss the story telling and the way Eddie used to make it feel like a big family, introducing everyone, talking about the locations and stops or this and that. I will continue to watch the videos because its great to see the wheeling, but you guys have big shoes to fill and you have a lot of catching up to do.

Cool video. A lot more exhaust tones in this one than others. Are some of these rigs V8 conversions or is it the camera that makes them sound that way? One of them at the beginning even sounded kinda like it had boost.. Turbo? Or gear whine?

+Alex Perkins some of them have v8's which are the REALLY good sounding and loud ones. They are expensive swaps to do though. The others are just stock or modded v6's with a good exhaust system.

+Allan Dela fuente For those wondering its probably fully eddies fault that he is not making the video or on the trip. If you do some research on him (wont take long) you'll find that him and his website are like a parasite of the jeep community. If your jeep isn't using the same bolt on parts as him he wont be afraid to tell you it will break and is stupid. He very actively bans people from his community for using any custom parts, or even parts from a vendor he just doesn't like.

Agree!! Eddie might have his opinions and may express them openly... Doesn't change the fact that he and his wife produce great videos!! Your head is firmly planted up something if you think this is better than what Wayalife publishes. I found myself skipping through this video... Unfortunate because I really liked the JK Experience videos.

This video was barely watchable and I skipped many times looking for something of value. The colours are blown out everywhere, there's no story or even continuity at times. No information about the places being visited either. No real information about the participants other then 'where are you from?'.... and this gem just caps it off in terms of actual value '... it's the best park in Texas, but I've only hit two...' Wow, deep insight.
