I just picked up a Maintainer bed which is super nice too, only thing not nice about these service bodies is the price. Definitely beats my my pos Reading bed for $11k, had a Reading on my 97 Ford with over 300k on it and had half the problems in 3 years with that than my 2016 bed did in the first 2 months, what a joke.

a 14' with out tools and additional cargo is around 22k lbs

+Johnathan Krieger 150-170K range on new. Used ones are rare and usually used up when they are available.

Start out at a dealership for heavy equipment either construction or agriculture/Forestry. Then you can go just about anywhere and they will help with school.

Look somewhere else....I started in this field when I turned 18.....you wont get this type of truck at first trust me.....I did 3 years in the shop before I had the 'privilege' of getting into a service truck....and it wasn't like this one...gas compressor that I can still hear idling in my sleep....I learned to never shut the truck off on sight because it was a toss up if it would start back up...more than once I spent the night in that cold cab till morning...I just turned 29 last month and am waiting for out supervisor to retire so I can take his spot....its the only way out of the truck that iv come to dread ....think hard before getting into this wracket...great money and retirement but say good by to your Saturdays especially in a service truck.....good luck
