Collins had a good run as a Met manager. Mets did not win the 2015 World Series but he sure took the Mets to the big stage. Collins can say the Mets were there ... front and center and he got the memories to prove it. "Tremendous Heart .... METS!

He was at his best when he wasn't emptying the tank and throwing 102 on every pitch. Starting pitchers used to pace themselves before the quants came along and ruined things.

The 2015 Mets had a great run. I was more impressed with 2016, a lot of injuries; Duda, deGrom, Matz, Harvey and Wheeler. The 2016 Mets still managed to win a wildcard berth that season.
